The 'tour' details my world. Do you have a FEW ACTUAL MINUTES to read it? If not, then please STOP ... Try again when you're not so rushed. I don't think a FEW minutes of 'My Time' a LOT to ask, to learn about 'YOU' ... All I ask is the same in return. (fair?)

RODNEY DANGERFEILD said it best, when he said - it ain't easy being me !

As an example, COOKIES. We all like cookies. Cookies are 'good-things' - right? So, I buy a cookie franchise. Then - a lady who LOVES cookies! - went cookie 'crazy' - GAINED huge WEIGHT - and SUED! (I sold the cookie business)

Another example? ... It damn near killed me, coming up with those various interests (noted above). After all that effort, PLEASE - Can you just take a quick look?
Ask yourself, how many are OK with YOU and-YOUR-world? (how about even REMOTELY OK?)

Regarding 'The Tour'
Being an 'ole time STORY-TELLER ... HUMOR will be sprinkled about.
As you read on - I honestly hope, a 'soft easy grin' will appear ... and a 'twinkle-in-the-eyes' will show. Maybe the eyebrows will 'raise a bit'
Is *THIS* the bio that 'A SPECIAL LADY' will read a 2nd and 3rd time? (I sure hope so)
That said, S-L-O-W down, relax, ... Welcome 'again'

The bio? Full physical custodial parent to my 15 (going on 24) year old son - I do the 'best I can' at parenting every day. Most days are 'great' ... but some days are more like WHAT? - are YOU KIDDING ME? As a 'Mom' - no doubt you can relate! (Help me please - is my son the only one addicted to these VIDEO GAMES?)

Being an on-stage entertainer is part of my family VAUDVILLE heritage - practicing magicians - been on theater stages often during my life. (as has ALL of my extended family) At 'OUR' family re-unions it's always a 'trip' to see who's gonna entertain 'who' ... We have disc-jockey's / sportscasters / magicians / singers / dancers / story-tellers ... the whole 'sh-bang ! ... When we 'gather' - it's like a personal 'Greatest Show On Earth'

My family's a HOOT! ... They really are! (and I fit right in!)

People tell me, I'm a 'pretty-good' "STORY-TELLER" (to them - 'Thanks')
... I'm a better listener than talker though. I'll 'hear' EVERY word you're saying to me.

There is both, a southern style and a polite, easy going mannerism to all that is me.
Raised to be polite - TODAY - I still am! - It's kinda 'cool' to be 'old-fashioned' in my manners ... You'll always hear me say - Please / Thank You / You're Welcome - or 'Yes Mam'

I've NEVER been a gambler - OK! well, maybe the lottery if it's 100 million+ - but that's it! (lol) ... NEVER blew a paycheck up my nose - or piddled my dreams down some local bar room urinal.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not a prude. (far from it!) I've done my share of partying in life, (been ridin' motorcycles 30+ years - doing the usual plundering of sleepy little unsuspecting villages) (not!) I've always however, had a sense of balance, and knowing the difference between right and wrong - and - intelligent and STUPID! (I have though, on RARE occasions, gotten a little 'Close-to-Stupid')

Of most importance - I'm centered and believe in personal honor. HONESTLY, I have NEVER cheated on, or EVER physically threatened any lady at ANY time! PERIOD ! I've been the one "stepped out on" - it wounded me deeply - I find it REPULSIVE!

I still play OLD vinyl LP's and, have a 'World Class' collection of thousands of them. I/e, VERY RARE - and - in nice shape ! ... some kids collected baseball cards - my cards went directly into my bicycle spokes, but my records? CHERISHED! - go figure!

... an ole' rock-n-roller from way back ... the conversion was made to TODAY's country music. For years it was - NO WAY! (too many SAD 'train in the valley', my dog died or 'I love drinkin' songs) but it EVOLVED - I LISTENED and now I'm a HUGE fan!

There are other unique and occasionally bizarre traits as well - (innocent ones as an FYI) usually referred to by those who know-and-love-me as BOB THINGS (particulars available upon request)

Been a 'Newspaper Guy' since I was a paperboy. It ended being an 18 year major 'MUCKY-MUCK' at a well known national newspaper (USA TODAY) ... '7' times honored as the best in the 'USA'. A while back, the perks of the position were traded (there were a few by THEN) to focus on raising my son. From time-to-time I STILL miss the intensity and R-U-S-H of being a part of the news business - but that's all right ... over a period of time - too much STRESS SUX !

Out-Of-State Corporate 'Hoop-Dee-Doo' meetings? I'm the sort that would 'ROLL-IN' on the HD - and not fly in with the others. (true!) Known as the company's 'TOKEN BIKER' (lol) - USA would offer to 'pay-my-way-by-land' if someone would 'drag' my suitbags thru the airport for me - so I'd say - sure!! absolutely! ... you're gonna COVER my meals and expenses on a 'major-mile' HD ROAD TRIP? (THANK's - I'm good-to-go!)

I DREAM BIG, set goals, WORK HARD - and do my utmost to succeed in this thing we call life - which incidently - come-to-find-out - is NOT a dress rehearsal.

Today, I am at peace. I like who I am and what I do ... Thru a wonderful company called MARKET AMERICA, I SUCCESSFULLY guide / mentor / coach small business owners on how to affordably create a profitable business web presence. (Do you know any? - referrals always treated with TLC!)

I'm ready and available (emotionally and otherwise) for a serious long-term 'no-games' lady. Not claiming to be ‘Man-Of-The-Year' here, but I am a Good-and-Decent guy, with a distinct FLAIR for life - simply wondering - where SHE is?

Typically - I vote on images (feel free to do likewise) - dabble in the forums (you can see my 'history') - and, if I clicked you as a FAVORITE it's not to suggest that we get married today! ... because statistically we won't. It's simply meant to convey that "I sense we might both enjoy a friendly, safe, *SANE* conversation"

MEANWHILE - back at the shanty ... I wait and wonder, going along, occasionally being 'Comfortably Numb' ...

The 1st date that ends up being the LAST 1st date is (was) the PERFECT 1st date.

...who SHE may be? ... what SHE may be like? ...and/or some of HER characteristics?
...Given I'm NOT HEAVY, I will find HER to be, average, to thin in HER physique
...SHE will be someone I'm drawn to emotionally 1st, and physically (as icing on the cake)
...SHE excites me when I'm around HER - we converse and I 'ENJOY' her even MORE when we KISS!
...SHE has LIFE and sparkle in her eyes (the window to her inner self)
...SHE likes (and probably has) kids - knows how to laugh - not afraid of life - hasn't gotten too old to get a LITTLE zany - and/or a LOT frisky now and then. SHE will be somewhat of a traditionalist, a partner (if you will) who still smiles and make lite of life's day-to-day un-expected curve-balls.

SHE enjoys riding on a Harley and KNOWS SHE looks WICKED-GOOD doing it !

...I'm not looking for a loosey-goosey gal here - but SHE'll be a Happy-To-Be-Around-HER sort of lady, who gets along well, has an 'upbeat nature' The sort of lady people Love To Have As A Friend

...SHE's NOT known to be selfish / self centered / snotty or prudish. If her happiness is TIED TO MONEY, (aka an upscale snob) or she's known as being HIGH MAINTENANCE please P-L-E-A-S-E, just go away!!

I'm probably not HER sorta 'fella' if SHE wants me to wear Cardigan sweaters / smoke a pipe / use a pocket protector - or be a screamin' liberal. Thanks but 'No Thanks'! (I'm more of a SAM ELLIOT type than an Alan Alda for sure!)

SHE is available emotionally - as well as (over time) intimatly. I see us BOTH taking it s-l-o-w, exercising patience, understanding moral values, BUILDING TRUST. Each is 100% honored and respected - but - just to be clear, as mellow as I am in that area, I'm NOT into settling down into CELIBACY!

...among many things, SHE likes good movies, going out dancing (now and then), ice cream on a warm summer night, a fireplace in the dead of winter ... and HOME COOKED MEALS. (I can cook)

In my world - Single custodial Dad MEANS just that. Single custodial Dad & PARENT - 5 Star weekend get-away trips / 2 or 3 nights a week going out to dinner are not often in my world. If that's what you need to be happy, it honestly isn't me.

The ONE-and-ONLY issue I SERIOUSLY have - is extra EXTRA weight. Not a pound or 2 or 5 or 10. HOWEVER, 25,35,45,or 50 extra pounds is a different story. Honesty is prevailing here - again - being I'm NOT HEAVY - I'm NOT attracted to heavier ladies. Chat? (sure) Friends? (sure) Beyond that? (never before, so I doubt it now)
