I'm a very social animal and crave interaction with people, both 1-on-1 and in groups. I love going out and DOING things, especially new things. I have quite a few hobbies and specific interests that I never tire sharing with my friends. I've not dated in a long time now, and I have no interest in being alone and risk allowing my work to consume my entire life now. Sharing my time and thoughts with someone else is one of my favorite activities!

Oh, and if you see me online, go ahead and IM me! I'm always up to talking to new people, especially if it means gaining a new friend.

I would suggest a social setting, but one where we could talk. Dinner at a nice restaurant always works out well! How else can you get to know someone if you don't take the time to talk to them? Old cliches like going to a movie don't work out because how are you going to get to know them by sitting next to them in a dark room where you can't talk? So dinner it is, and then perhaps something silly but fun like bowling or pool or walking downtown. Anything to let you know my fun and witty side and let that speak as loud to you as I eventually do, especially if I have any alcohol earlier ;)
