How to describe myself? Independent, honest, compassionate, loving person, looking for the right man to spend time with. Not seeking intense romance or marriage at this time. Seeking someone who might like to spend time together, and experience new things. I am open to suggestions when it comes to activities(Don't let your mind wonder in the gutter). Enjoy doing activities that allow me to be with others. However, on occasion I prefer solitude to socializing. I enjoy activities for both outdoors and in, but most especially I enjoy meeting people that stimulate my sense of humour.
I'm as genuine as the day is long, reliable, hardworking with a sense of humour that needs to be engaged. My philosophy is that laughter is the best medicine. I'm that upbeat person you see at work who genuinely enjoys their job. I'm perpetually smiling and it's infectious I guess, cause people tend to smile right back.
I like to take opportunities to be creative and spontaneous. Enjoy a day trip to the zoo, musical or sporting event (I'm a die hard Leafs fan).
Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the simple things as well. I enjoy cooking, and gardening. However cooking for one is not so much fun.
I love to dance and sing, and will occasionlly go to a club, but I'm just as happy at home curled up in front of the TV to watch a movie or read a book with someone maybe like you.
I'm the type of person who sets a goal and works until I achieve it. Yes, thats right I admit it I'm determined and know what I want.
What attracts me first is a genuine smile and someone without pretention. I'm looking for a man who knows his own mind and has confidence in himself. Although I enjoy my independence, I must admit I'm interested in meeting a man who knows how to treat a woman. It is imparative that you have a sense of humour, cause I myself occasionally have a warped one. You must be employed, and have your own vehicle (sorry but this is a deal breaker, small bit of baggage). You must be independent and self sufficient.
If your looking for a size three please don't write me, cause I'm not. I'm not into alot of B.S. so if that is your thing count me out. I'm a say what I mean and do what I say kinda gal. I'm 5'4" of irish sass and don't expect me to be other than I am. I'm occasionally shy, but once I get to know you it usually does't last.

What would I do for a first date? Although I'm open to spontaniety, not everyone is. It's pretty important to know a person before making any big dating plans. I think the parties going on the date should decide together.
A first date is pretty critical in getting to know the other person, and finding out if chemistry exists between you. I would recommend going somewhere quiet so that we could talk and learn about each other at our own pace. If your someone who prefers crowds to intimacy, I'm open to ideas regarding venue.
