Hi there!

Like most people, this would not be my first choice as the way that I'd like to meet that special someone. I would much rather that our paths crossed in such a manner that would allow us to get to know each other without all the preasures and apprehensions that seem to be associated with online dating.

Small as it may be, however, there has to be a greater chance of meeting someone here, than in everyday life. Most of us don't meet a lot of new people at work and have already ruled out all the people that our friends think would be 'perfect' for us.

For these, and other reasons, many of us wind up here, trying to write a short blurb that will give others an idea of who we are and what we are looking for. At first this seems pretty easy, but as we write and read and think... it soon becomes apparent that we could probably write a book and still not capture our entire essence...OK, perhaps some could, but probably not the majority of us. Then there are those who can post a decent pic and get more interest shown in a day than most of us will get in a year...without saying anything at all! C'est la vie!

Well I seem to be developing the ability to 'talk' without saying anything...perhaps I should get into politics...I haven't told you (if indeed anyone is still reading ) anything about me or what I'm looking for.

I list 'long term' up above, but first there has to be a friendship that will involve hanging out and dating. I hope that anyone I may meet will also be looking for a friendship first; only with someone with whom there is a mutual attraction which may lead to something else down the road.

Anything that allows us the opportunity to talk and get to know one another. If weather permits I'd like to stroll along the waterfront or in the park....or even down the street. The company is what's important, not the what or where.
