I value a relationship in which there is much open discussion – of everything - - all the while being attuned and sensitive to each other as partners. I want a committed relationship in which my life is witnessed and filtered back to me in a loving and honest way so that I may know myself better and reciprocate in kind.
My priority is on awareness and appreciation of all that life offers. I lead an active and (finally):- healthy life, enjoy being outdoors, connecting with others, struggle with being human, enjoy laughing and listening and ....
Much of my passion these days goes on playing music, the arts, travelling. I enjoy most aspects of non-Anglo cultures and the richness they bring to my life. I seem to prefer Latins, possibly but not entirely because I speak their languages. One carry-on. I boogie, swim, do bookstores, the ocean, walk, cycle, and golf for fun. I enjoy galleries, people watching. architecture, theatre, film and fiction with good lines. I'm a film buff..don't watch much tv - Cinemateque etc
What matters is not what we do, but how we do it. We will click because you are observant of life around you. We will blend because you are verbal,tactile, and solvent. You enjoy doing, not just talking about doing. Sense of humour essential.
On the material side I owned language schools in Paris & Stockholm, a charter boat in northern BC. Paid for university as a musician & tour guide in Europe, North Africa and Scandinavia. Editor for a major press, taught to college level, retired in '99 and went to Spain where I started a computer business.... am now a musician who gets paid to play. Or stop.}:- Lots of other stuff too - and I don't intend to stop there.

On having the computer translate this phrase back into English from the Russian, the message received was - "The vodka is available but the meat is underdone".
