My name is Sarah, and I am 23 years old. I am originally from CO but moved in 06. I like Tx well enough, but I still miss the familiarity and friends of CO.

I live with my Mom, and new Dad, and my sister, Elizabeth. We have many kinds of pets to look after, but certainly have the room. I am a great animal lover, my favorite being cats, but I am up for almost anything, excluding spiders. I am quite terrified of them. I am kind, sweet, and considerate, but then I can also be sarcastic, tempered, and cynical, a true aries. I have a great sense of humor, and find most things in life funny. I tend to not care much what others think of me, I like to be secure and confident with myself. I procrastinate, probably far too much, but in the end I turn out a good job. I don't think that only the guy should be the romantic one, I can be romantic too, after all he needs to get a little, instead of just give. I love to have a good time, I can be a total goofy kid, whether watching cartoons, or playing on the swing set at the park, I'm up for anything that makes me feel young and happy. You might often find me dancing, either by myself or with others, I just love to do it.

I am not currently in school, but hope to start up at The Texas Actor's Studio, in Spring once things are more settled. And then later on start up at a college with a good theatre program, I want to major in Theatre Design, I would like to become an actress, but just in case that doesn't pan out, I will have Production Design to fall back on. It is my biggest goal, for now at least, to work with Tim Burton, my favorite director. I love his sense of artistic style, and macabre directing personality.

Holiday: Halloween-I am absolutely crazy for it, and would love to run my own haunted house someday.
Music Type: As long as it isn't jazz/rap/hip-hop/r&b or blues, I am good, but the tops for me are, punk, rock, 80's, new age, classical and indie, I am even up for some country and bluegrass.
Movies: Some of my most favorites are listed in my interests, but I am pretty much a movie whore, I think that is why I want to work in film so bad. The genres I enjoy the most are, fantasy, and of course HORROR, anything to do with that is up my alley, I am not senstitive to anything.
Food: I really love Italian, I could seriously live in Italy, because I love pasta and cheese and tomato sauce, throw it together and add some crusty bread, and I'm set. But I will go for most anything, or at least try it once.
Candy: I am positively INSANE for Chocolate. Any and all kinds.
Color: Black, Red, Green, Blue....but I will wear others.
Artists: Edward Gorey, Amy Brown, Brian Froud, Toulouse Lautrec, Tony DiTerlizzi...that is just some of them.
Authors: Stephen King, J.R.R Tolkien, C.S Lewis, Ann Rice, Lyn Flewelling.

Fears: Spiders, Clowns, Spider Veins, and general 'being a woman alone' stuff.

Political: I am Democrat, fairly liberal-Pro choice, Pro gay marriage, but also a little conservative, Pro Death Penalty.

Things I Hate: HUNTING!, Drugs, Smoking, Overly Bad Spelling and Grammar, LIVER!

Besides the theatre, I enjoy many forms of art. I keep a sketchbook for whenever the mood strikes me to draw something, which is usually costumes of my own design for a later date. I also paint, and use a potter's wheel, clay is my favorite medium. I am not limited to the visual type arts though, I very much enjoy to write poetry, and keep some of my works in a note book, that perhaps one day I will have published for myself. Pretty much anything creative I love to do.

I am interested in anything to do with fantasy or history during the medieval ages and renaissance. So naturally going to any kind of Ren. festival is a huge source of enjoyment for me. And of course I have to get done up in garb, or else I don't enjoy it as much.

I am also hugely into anything that has to do with pirates. I know that they were truly not very good people, but I honestly believe that I myself could have been one. :)

Some of my interests in a datable person are,
Humor: This is what attracts me most to someone, if they can make me laugh, then I get hooked, and if it is sarcastic-witty humor, then all the better, because I, myself am VERY sarcastic.
Intelligent: The plain and simple fact is...I just can't handle stupid people. Stupidity is one of my pet peeves, and I would much rather have someone that I could carry on a conversation with, and not have to explain everything I was trying to say...I have to do that enough with the people I already know.
Faithful: I just can't abide cheating, there will be no second chance that is it, in return the other party can gaurantee that I will not cheat either.
Family: Wanting kids is a must for me. I really want a family, with multiple kids. So it is important that the person I am with loves and wants them as well.
Romantic: I love a guy, who can write me poetry, or just think to bring me a single flower on his way to see me.
Confidance: I am very into a guy who is, not vain or conceited, but knows that he is a good person, or doesn't care what others will think of him, someone that isn't afraid to look stupid, get strange stares, or cry infront of me.
Considerate: I don't NEED a man to open a door for me, but it really does feel nice to have it done.
Adventurous: I love amusement parks, anything that will fling me around for my joy, I also like to go explore new places, or hike through the mountains, I would someday like to travel to different countries, and take in all the sights.
Secure: I want a guy that is not going to feel threatend by my being a capable woman, I like to be able to care for myself and not depend on having a man do it, at the same time, I am not going to refuse help if it is genuinely offered.
Religion: I myself am a Witch, or Wiccan, and so I think for me to be completely comfortable with someone, they would have to be ok with that, I too would respect their religeous choice.
Gentlemen: I find it very attractive when a guy knows how to treat, not just me, but anyone, I'm not into the 'jerk' thing, I want him to be able to be polite when needed, and if he was to meet my parents or friends, I wouldn't have to worry about him saying/doing something inappropriate.

I find that there is nothing wrong with the dinner and a movie approach. It is a good way to get to know each other more, and if there is any trouble trying to come up with something to say, the movie takes care of that.

But I am up for anything, going to the park for a picnic, an amusement park to ride everything, or the faire. As long as I am with someone that is truly enjoying my time, and not just wanting to get me back to his place, which I DO NOT sleep with anyone on the first date, or even second, third, etc...any gentlemen would not have a problem with that.
