I'm looking for someone who has some things in common with me, that's a given. But also someone who has a sense of humility, great humour and who will take the time to get to know me as I will with them. I look at a relationship as best friends who hang out, have fun and grow through each other.

It's true what they say about Gemini's, I'm generally a 2 sided person: introspective and analytical, but also fun-loving and spontaneous. I laugh a lot, especially when I'm comfortable with those around me. Laughter and seeing the funny side of life is definitely important to me!

On my serious side, I value good conversation with close friends and ethics in those around me. I think I thrive in dinner-party-type settings, but I'm quiet in larger groups. I click with genuine people, who leave their pretenses behind and aren't worried about seeming too human. Really, the west coast could do with less pretension. Therefore, the silly ones should rule! If you can't dress up at Halloween, hmm, you might not be silly. Don't worry, I do laugh easily though!

Because I have a serious arts bent, I think anyone I'm involved with needs to have a certain amount of appreciation for the arts. I say arts in general, but please - no pretension about it. Music festivals, plays, art galleries, you name it, I take an interest.

Just as well, I love outdoor activities and exercise! Being active is important to me and I like having people to do those things with. Because of my deep-rooted sense of curiosity, I ask a lot of questions! :) I'm continually learning, it's exciting to open up your world. Anyone want to come exploring? Chat, find out the basics about each other. Simple activities like going for coffee or out for a drink are nice. I usually get antsy with the small-talk after a couple hours, so don't take it personally. Honest! By the 5th hour, I'm not much use! Taking time to get to know someone happens on a continual basis, not immediately. :)
