Greetings, I am Mr Benn!

No, not quite that old children's TV character, Mr Benn. For starters, my name doesn't have an extra 'n' at the end. Additionally, I don't go into strange fancy dress stores, dress up and pretend I'm in some foreign world! Still, it would be funny if I could!

I am pretty hard-working and have been lucky enough to travel around the country for work. I enjoy seeing new places.

I love my sports. However, this extends sitting on the couch with a packet of crisps and watching the tv. I get out there and stay as active as possible. So a combination of running and going to the gym is usually what I get up to. I ran the London Marathon (2008) and would love to do again sometime in the future. I do like golf and hit driving range every now and again too.

Singing is another hobby. I'm an 'ok' singer. I mean I've heard worse on all those talent shows. I love karaoke. When I go out, I love to dance. I wouldn't say I'm that good but I am quite energetic!

I am easy-going but shy around people especially in a group and around women. It's probably weird to say this but I always feel I am going to make a fool of myself. Even if I do think of something sensible to say, I still find a way of making a fool of myself. ;) However, I am better around one or two people particularly if you get to know me better. I can be more open and sharing if the favour is returned. I try my best to see things from the other person's point of view and as always try to treat people the way I would wanted to be treated.

I am looking for someone who is honest, caring and loyal. Also if she has a good sense of humour and likes to keep fit that helps too (but not necessary).
