Though I am a rather private person, and would prefer for someone to learn who I am through observation and contact, I have a tendency to be mentally strong, loyal, honest, responsible, a shy and reserved exterior, conservative, mellow, passionate about those I love and compassionate for others, altruistic, deeply rational, philosophically complex, practical, sensible, pragmatic, stable, supportive, comical, adaptable, sociable, understanding, sensitive, sincere, affectionate and playful. My temperament profile characterizes me as an INFJ which implies that I tend to be extremely intuitive in my personal dealings with others yet I can equally understand and deal with complex issues and people.

With that said, I enjoy nature in its many forms, the great outdoors, animals large and small, tree frogs' and crickets' nightly conversations in the otherwise still of the night, walks and rides along wooded paths and open fields, oceans and rivers, even small babbling brooks, the smell of the earth after a spring rain as well as its sound on a tin roof, gadgets, antiques, old homes/barns and stone fences are all unique and each possess their own personal character.

I enjoy driving my 1984 Jaguar as well as being on the water, particularly sailing, various cuisines, wines and music, especially classical.

I would like to meet someone who is able to enjoy a stimulating and provocative conversation, who is open-minded and who listens to all sides, therefore flexibility is important. I seek someone who is a fairly "well-rounded" and "well-grounded" individual. My match would be quite inquisitive, extremely honest, a great communicator and a true romantic.
