Looking for a partner on this journey through life.

I enjoy trying new things, going new places, meeting new people, and holding on to the favorites I find along the way. Some of my favorite things to do are: dancing, movies, concerts or art events, sporting events, travel, anything on or around water, and spending time with friends or family.

I am definitely a goal-oriented person, and am looking for the same. I've worked hard for the things I have achieved and know how to separate work from play. I'd like to find someone who has a great sense of humor, self-confidence, intelligence, and values both the time we spend together and our time apart. I'm definitely an independent woman, and prefer a man who sees that as a plus, not a threat. I also have somewhat old-fashioned values when it comes to dating, and like a man who can take charge and make decisions, yet not be controlling. Is that possible? :)

I see life as a journey and try to continually improve myself inside and out. I hope to find someone who feels the same so we can support and encourage one another along the way.

I can be serious or a total goofball, depending on the circumstance (and alcohol consumption), but am mostly just good natured with an optimistic outlook.

Anything but coffee!!! I find the go out for coffee on a first date thing a very strange ritual; it's just not a place that inspires romance in my opinion.
