.....and now that I have your attention......

First of all, I have my messenger here shut off.... because it sucks!!! It cuts out so much I can't even type the simplest message.

I like to see myself as a man of very simple tastes and expectations.I don't think I crave attention or things that make me stand out...I figure that my sense of humor and physical stature do enough of that for me! I would rather spend the afternoon waist deep in a Trout stream than fighting traffic of a big city.

I've been told that I have a very good sense of humor, a quick wit (often times replying to someones comments before I realize that it was my voice that replied!!), and to me nothing beats spending time outdoors....whether it be camping under the stars, fishing or hunting.

I am very spontaneous, love doing things at a moments notice. Some of my other interests include live comedy shows, woodworking, photography, reading (especially about Michigan history, ghost stories and history of the Great Lakes.) and my love for Michigan Wolverines football. I also dabble in some fishing tackle making, Fish Taxidermy, and sell fishing tackle on Ebay.

I am looking for someone to share my time with, maybe a weekend of attending an outdoor show, a comedy show, or just going for a long drive to no where in particular???

Often times I unwind from a night of work by browsing the profiles on here. If you've seen me visit your profile without saying HI, please feel free to do what I haven't!! The nice thing (and also the curse) of internet dating is meeting people from other states, or even other countries. It's always nice to be able to talk with people we don't have the chance to meet locally.

I am an absolute sucker for a tomboy type woman, one that is not afraid to let her hair down and get dirty. Being a tall man (6'6" tall) I am naturally attracted to tall women.......but on the other hand petite women will catch my eye too!! I just love a woman that can keep a witty banter, and a good sense of humor......laughter is ALWAYS a good thing!!

I have a 2 yr old son that I devote quite a bit of my time too. I am also working hard in rearranging my life in order to give him the best things in life as I should. At this time I don't feel that I have the time to devote to a relationship that I would like, and I don't believe it is fair for me to say that I am looking for a relationship when I don't have the time to put into it that I feel i should. For this very reason I have listed "FRIENDS" as my search criteria.

My hopes are that I can meet great people on here....as I have...and that when my "re-organization" is complete, that I will have that one "special friend" in place to devote my time and effort to begin something special for both my son and I.

Please look me up in the forums as well. I feel that it is easy to hide yourself inside a generic profile on here......but in the forums, with each post added, your true character comes out for the world to see !

QUICK WIT

I was at the mall the other day eating at the food court. I noticed an
old man watching a teenager sitting next to him. The teenager had
spiked hair in all different colors, green, red, orange and blue. The
old man kept staring at him. The teenager would look away and then
back at the old man and each time he caught the old man staring at
him. When the teenager had enough, he sarcastically asked, "What's
the matter, old man ...never done anything wild in your life?"

The old man did not bat an eye in his response ... "Got drunk once and
had sex with a peacock. I was just wondering if you were my son."

Sex With A Cowboy


You've got to know about Skoal to appreciate this one!! For you non-tobacco users........the container for this snuff is very large, flat, and round, and the Cowboys carry this in their back Jeans pocket, which makes a distinct round shape! Now back to the story........

Prior to her trip to Montana, Muffy (a New Yorker) confided to her sorority sisters she had three goals for her trip to the Big Sky State. She wanted to taste some real Montana Bar B Q, take in a real bona fide rodeo, and have sex with a real cowboy.

Upon her return, her sorority sisters were curious as to how she fared. "Let me tell you, they have a tree down there called a Mesquite, and when they slow cook that brisket over that Mesquite wood, it's oh so good. The taste is unbelievable!!"

" And I went to a real rodeo.....Talk about athletes!! Those guys wrestle full grown bulls. They ride horses at a full gallop then jump off the horse, then grab the bull by the horns and wrestle them to the ground. It's just amazing!!"

They then asked, " Well tell us, did you have sex with a real Cowboy?" "Are you kidding? Once I saw the outline of the condom they carry in the back pocket of their Jeans, I changed my mind!!"

Something simple....allowing us to talk and get to know each other a little bit more. One of the best first dates I've had simply involved getting ice cream, and sitting in a park along the St Joseph River watching people and talking.
