I'm 62 yo and proud of it. I have survived cancer because the Lord wished it so. Every day of my life is precious now. I am in the middle of 5 generations of family. My Nanny (grandmother for the non-Southern) is 99 yo. My mom is a young 79 yo and takes a bit of care of Nanny who still lives alone in her apartment. My mom lives alone, the widow of a cancer victim. My son is turning 40 next month, and my grandson is 15 yo. My first responsibility in life is to each one of the above named people. I retired from a govt job 11 years ago. I was a traveling instructor for the next 6 years, and then I came back 'home' and tended to my health. I still work every day. In fact I worked mostly through 4 surgeries in 2 years. I like my job, and I spend a lot of time being a 'Geek' teacher and other duties as required. I met a lady here that lives next door to where I work. I think the amount of time that she sees my car here scared her off.
I am quite happy in my Life. I have not been married since 1986, but, I haven't been dead either. I have no issues that I have not resolved (at least in my mind). I do not mind being alone, except the conversation can get boring. I am aware that I might be a hermit if a cave was near by.
So why you ask are you wasting your time reading this? Because, I really do want someone near (say on the Peninsula, or maybe close to the Monitor-Merrimac) to spend some time with. You may, or may not want to be a part of all of my life. I'm eager to open a space for you. I hope I have made the point that I cannot supply you with a happiness you must find within yourself. I have taken years to know what I am, and what I want. If YOU are in the same place, and have a space in your life where I might fit, then we have a potential match. Worth checking out.

Hey, I have a lot to say. You want to hear? I don't care WHERE, WHEN, HOW; I care that you communicate. Now, please be mature. I'm interested in a real relationship, free of games that some people play. I assume you will be an adult, know what you want, and are willing to explore a match. One more item I'll mention. I heard a Sermon on 'Harmony'; I really liked it. You are woman, I am man. Together we form the bond that God intended when He created woman for man, and man to be rewarded by woman, and woman to be rewarded by man. Harmony makes two voices sound better than one. Think about it. It will shine a light on your Life.
