I am single, never married probably because I have too many interests that take me in so many different directions that I have not run across anyone that is unencumbered enough to go along with my lifestyle. I have slowed up a bit. Just enough where I am appreciating children and finding myself to desiring an opportunity to positively influence their pointed little heads (lol)! Just enough maybe so, to be inviting to someone that has little ones in their life.
Sailing and motorcycling has been my most recent favorite ways to spend my free time. But scuba, landsailing, fishing, nearly anything that has to do with the outdoors attracts my interest. I am not too shabby in the kitchen either. For kicks I like to experiment with copy-cat recipes of well-known restaurants to see if I can come close. I was raised in the mountains and truly feel young when I have the opportunity to return to them no matter how brief a stay.
I am a Registered Nurse but currently do not engage in that profession. I do however maintain my license as a backup career if needed. I currently enjoy a trade in boat canvas that allows me a certain amount of flexibility where my schedule is concerned freeing me up for fun! It also satisfies a creative desire that I have not found in any other career.
Something about the freedom of a boat though, really suits me well. The solitude, the people you meet. Hard to describe. I do however, derive alot of satisfaction from simply introducing people to sailing so don't feel like experience is necessary. Just a desire to explore it for yourself. Even if the water is not your cup of tea, you just might like to romp around a little bit on a motorcycle. If you never have, you might discover something new about yourself. I have roughly a quarter million miles in the saddle so you will be riding with someone that knows how to look out for trouble and keep us safe. To me riding is just one of those things that is so much more fun to share. Whatever your interest, welcome aboard!

Let's call it something else just so we are more at ease. I would think our first meeting should be a simple, casual introduction at a mutually desirable restaurant or similar venue. No expectations, just a chance to get to know each other.
