I am a busy vancity artist and cultural planner, and don't check in with this online site often. Not pushing it (cause i'm busy enough in real life as a parent and working) so nothing has developed as a result.

I am passionate about life and live it very full-on; wise but youthful; open to diverse experience; curious and animated; dedicated to working on progressive politics and culture.

Interested in people who are socially conscious and trying to force change with the dominant system. Yes, life keeps us all busy, but atleast you know this world is pretty messed up and you have a critique of patriarchy, capitalism, racism...

If your interests surround playing golf, watching tv nightly, river rock casino, and camping, we're not a match. Not that waiting for the next camping trip is bad, but the in-between lifestyle you pull off, hopefully reflects your idealism and passion for engaging life and social change. Wanting to live life - live it well - and be engaged in bringing fundamental social change while inspiring peeps to do the same. If this is not you then i am not your guy.

I like to party but i like the heavy lifting too. Most of my friends tend to be people who mix it up with art and politics. I like hanging with my daughter or work mates, watching film, reading about political struggle. I've been to many places in the world. Right now i'm probably listening to cliqhop on somafm or Eno's Music for Airports; i like red wine or ale and good food. No interest in comedy clubs, but live life knowing humour and laughter help sustain us. I like serious conversation and critical inquiry - i guess that's an utter surprise by now ;)

likely just a bevvy at a cafe. But i'll imagine some other things... checking out an art opening, see a play, walk, catch a film, make dinner, talk, walk, full moon bike ride, talk some more over a pint...
