Random crap about me:
I am not for the faint of heart; while I appear, on the surface, to live a very complex life (esp. social), I am actually very laid back, like to have a good time, great conversationalist, responsible, and a good friend.

I have a thing for: firemen, dogtags, kink, and clavicles.

I have been told on more that one occasion that I "think like a guy". Take that for whatever is means, but I still thing cuteoverload is a fantastic website (a rat cuddling a teddy bear?! awwwwwwww)

Growing up in Miami, I came to hate humidity so much that I have been known to take as many as 4 cold showers in a single day to shake off the feeling.

Perfume has ‘color’ to me, so I actually match my perfume to what I’m going to wear. I have an inordinate fondness for burnt orange, kelly green, and pink, but you are more likely than not going to see me in blues and browns. I don’t much care for red, but I wear it a lot because I know I look good in it.

I have little patience for people who think that watching TV or going to Starbucks is beneath them.

I go to bars a lot more in NYC now that they have the smoking ban.

I put the 'sex' in dyslexia.

Trained and tested in interviewing and interrogation techniques (complete with certification). The power of my testimony, while a criminal investigator for NYC, sent someone to prison for 6-8 years and I am utterly unambivalent about it.

Currently happily employed doing what I love. P/t Professor and specialist in a very rare field;I am one of those lucky few happy to go to work in the morning...

Skirting the edge between Type A and lazy, I am still the hardest working wannabe procrastinator I know.

Pet peeves: form letters, emails like 'ur hott!', profiles stating how much they hate 'drama' or are looking for a 'nice' girl (talk about meaningless phrases, not to mention the most 'drama' I have ever had has always been from guys who state stuff like that), guys emailing assuming that I should fall for them at first sight...and then get angry when I don't...stay classy guys *rolls eyes*

All and all...I am just 'me'...

I tend to be rather laid back and so often just like meeting at a local bar and having a few drinks. On the other hand, nothing beats going to the Mandarin Hotel Bar and toasting to new friends...If you play Catan...that is a HUGE plus- I need a 3rd and/or 4th player!
