I am an art professor at a university in south east Oklahoma. I teach sculpting, making pottery and graphic design. I love what I do for a living and plan to continue teaching until I retire...if I retire. My 2 sons, which I have every other weekend, are the loves of my life. I like going to art galleries, museums, making art and have recently taken up bike-riding again. I like all types of music and feel that good music can be found in most genres.
As an update, since I have made some major lifestyle changes - basically eating less and doing more - I have lost 75 pounds over the past year...so cudos to me...yeaaa!!

I think a 'first date', or more accurately a first meeting, should be over coffee or having dinner, in an atmosphere conducive to conversation and getting to know one another better.
I think communication is the key to forming any kind of relationship. If you can communicate with each other and are able to listen to and care about each other's concerns you have the foundation for a good long-term relationship.
