I am a very level headed down to earth individual- NOT a player -looking for friendship first - I absolutely Love the outdoors and outside activities. I am a camping enthusiast with love of an open camp fire by the riverside. I also love the night life /entertainment scene - I am not a bar person per se -but I love entertainment and In saying that -I am a social drinker only.I prefer a non-smoker,like myself, but its just a preference/ not a deal breaker.

I am a Hopeful romantic. Hard to write these things when I am being sincere -but sometimes when I read other peoples profiles, I get the feeling some people say only what they think you want to hear. Hello All,
Since High School and College I have been very active in the Arts - Mainly Live Theatre.
I have served on many arts boards and been president of a few.
I am also active in Outdoor recreation and Conservation efforts, - Served on a few State Boards there as well

I am still occasionally the shy guy until I get to know someone.
I enjoy ladies with intelligence and high class but that are not stuffy. A fine classy lady who can go out on the town with me to formal events but not afraid to belch in the car on the way home.

After College I have had various jobs.
After being with a company for a while I usually shift over to management and or supervisor positions. I am a chameleon in many ways on the career front. Analytical and a streamliner. I am currently investigating opening two new grounds up businesses.

I consider myself to be an intellectual but I am also very down to Earth. I enjoy the finer things in life but have lived with a lot less. It’s not unusual for me to hang with people of high profile but then to turn around and hang in a low class nightclub or bar. In general, I am a People Person. I do appreciate the small things in life. I have 6 siblings and my mother and father are still living. I have many nieces and nephews. Although I have no biological children of my own, I have raised a few and I have grandchildren.

My family is very important to me although I don't get to spend as much time with them as I would like. My Mother has been in a nursing home but still has all her mental faculties. My Father is doing well but struggled for a while after a heart operation. My brothers and sisters, I love dearly and are the finest people you could ever meet.

I am very easy going and would encourage you to e-mail me as I always respond to e-mails and while I am on here to find a significant other-one can not have too many friends. Be safe Fishing!( I Really dont like my profile -It reads like a stuffed Shirt) Maybe I should mention -I AM A FUN PERSON TO BE AROUND -JUST ASK ANYBODY WHO KNOWS ME FROM KARAOKE OR LIFE IN GENERAL !

I believe in 1st Dates as more of a Meeting, possibly during lunch.(No sense of spending your time with me if there is no connection)

2nd Dates are of more importance and so I will answer it as the so called 1st Date.

I personally am a traditionalist. So Drinks - Dinner - Live Theatre /Comedy or a Movie. From there, let the night take it's course. Possibly a change into more comfortable clothes and going to a night club for a listen to a band/dancing or singing Karaoke. I am also very much into the outdoors, so I wouldn't rule out finishing the night cuddled by a campfire.

These are only my preferences -But I would rather have input from you on a first date. ( I am open to your thoughts)
