I'm independent , thoughtful and resourceful. I'm savvy when it comes to economics, politics and getting along peacefully and self sufficiently. I'm creative in a domestic sorta way, gentle, and I live with humor. I don't have children and at this stage am not looking to raise the children of others nor endure non-stop offspring dialogue. I often see life in terms of an associated movie scene and keep my own council without discounting the value of the input of others. The woman with whom I best connect is smart, humorous, gentle, open, and is past those stages in life that tie her to a restricted routine. She is responsible to herself and looks after her physical and mental well being without being obsessive about it. She understands why her perspectives work for her while she respects the perspectives of others. She's self actuated, conversant, and understands the value of comfortable silence.

I'm a solid soul. I reason, am prudent, a thinking person, resourceful and am generally established. I don't ask for too much and demand little or nothing. I say this because I notice a large population of singles who are lately in transit, migratory, unsettled and without obvious compass. I suppose this may be a result of economy or politics, however at this stage we should probably have figured out the larger pieces of our personal puzzle. Happiness, companionship etc may have gotten past us temporarily for various and common reasons, however the basics of life probably should be mostly handled by this time.

Meet at Starbucks, peer into the soul, have a laugh at the ridiculousness of it all and try to assess the long term prospects. (photo requested before we meet....I tend to trend toward slim and humorous...I don't respond readily to 'old-timey'. Extended grandma chatter shoos me away, as it might others who are childless.)
