Tall, gentle man looking for a lady to spend time with. I am very involved within the community, but I am looking to spend quality time with that special someone. While I said that I am looking for 'dating', that is because I believe that is where any long term relationship would begin.

I am quite comfortable being either indoors or out. I enjoy good food and good company, a quiet drive or a long walk. I enjoy coaching kids in baseball and have been involved with that for a number of years. I've also been involved with scouting so I know and enjoy camping - from simple tents to full campers (is that REALLY camping???). I have been skiing and scuba diving, but I also dabble in poetry and piano.

I live in my own home with my youngest teenager and two fur bearing critters who like to compete for total world domination. (The critters, not the teenager.)

For those that have done the personality typing, INFP. And like most generalities said, most of it is true, but with enough of a twist to make me, uniquely me. My mind is an endless fountain of incredibly useless information, but I like to think that I usually know what I am talking about. And while I may have an opinion or a suggestion, I really do understand that sometimes you just want someone to listen so that you can solve the problem yourself.

I have quick mind and a quick laugh - I tend to see the humour in anything and everything. However, I must warn you - I do enjoy puns.

A walk on the sea wall or along a trail, either the two of us or with my face-washing, tail wagging terrorist dog who likes to see how many faces he can scrub clean in a single outing.

Or if it's a cold, wet island day, we could meet at a mall, have a chocolate covered ice-cream bar (Purdy's, of course), and take a stroll of the shops, followed by a coffee and a chat.

Or finally, if it's hockey season and me being a slightly rabid Clipper's fan, we could meet at a home game and cheer ourselves hoarse.
