I really have no idea if this will actually capture me at all - but here's my attempt! I'd like to meet someone intelligent, engaging, and who can put a smile on my face (i.e. please be hilarious). I love travelling and living in different parts of the world - from Thailand to Timbuktu, I've had more than a few adventures, and hope to have plenty more. I'd love to meet someone who shares my passion for exploring the world, so you ought to be flexible, curious, open to different cultures, and interested in the wider world. My social/political views are important to me and I don't have the energy to argue with any über-conservative types - social conscience is a must! Hopefully you care about the world and are in some way (big or small) trying to make it a better place. Basically, I'm looking for someone with a little edge - a super-mainstream, hockey-watching, guys-guy is not my type. Don't worry - there are plenty of other girls out there for you!

I just moved back to Toronto after four years working in Halifax - if there are any Scotians out there who want to reminisce with me while eating donairs, I'm in! I've recently bought a house in the east end; it's been fun to get reacquainted with my old hometown and settle in to life here...In the summer I love getting out for a swim or a bike ride...I also love dancing the night away to really good music, but I do not do that nearly often enough. Board games are fun too, but watch out, I'm good! I'm the Executive Director of a non-profit organisation - it's great - but I tend to work a little too much and need a good reason to not stay at the office so late! I was going to insert in some more random facts about me (maybe the infamous orangutan mugging incident) but then I figured I should save some material for our semi-awkward first date...

I really do not think this profile is doing me justice, so you'll just have to trust me when I say that overall, I'm kind of hilarious, pretty damn smart, definitely cute, going places, been places, and special in an extra good way. So why not say hi and impress me with your dazzling wit ;)
