The ideal first meeting would be out for a nice relaxed coffee and good conversation. This gives a chance to see what kind of chemistry if any there is. Most people know within the first 5 mins if there's nothing, fun for a good friend or maybe even that wild animal attraction that gives the shudder deep inside. Who knows after that but I think its important for both people to get a chance to find out with no pressure if you like the other person. A first meeting isn't a commitment, its just a chance to see if you like someone and see if its the beginning of a path to a friendship or more.
