Press Play! Then follow along with the toe-tappiness that is my profile. Bonus points if you can read all of this by the end of the song! I would have to say that one can't listen to this song without singing along and smiling...it's just THAT happy! I've found that the hopeless romantic in me pretty much finds this song to be perfect.
Hi there!! Just so everyone knows, I've recently switched to evil-doing, because well let's face it...it's just more fun than the crime-fighting schtick. Besides, all crime fighters seem to be by night, or they're too busy changing into their costumes from their phone booths and secret lairs to foil my dubious and devious plans!! Muahahaha...ha...ha *cough* oops I overdid it...
So...has ANYONE ever smelled what The Rock was cooking? I wonder if he even CAN cook. lol...I wonder about these things. Like if you put the lime in the coconut and DON'T shake it all up...does something bad happen? Other than your drink being all...not shaken...and such. And are Mongoose's just like a Goose on a Monday? Or maybe they're like a Jamaican goose...My mind wanders from time to time...and I don't seem to have a leash to snap it back on track. Lol.
Anyways, I like to think that I'm a healthy blend of suave and stupid; sophisticated and retarded...Sophistarded, or maybe Rephistocated...ya that sounds much better.
I'm the kind of friend that will always being joking around...but then be there to bring ya up when you're feeling down. I'm a real goof off and I like to be a dork, but at the same time I was taught how to treat a lady, and what's better; I use what I learn to great affect. I like to think of myself as one of the last few chivalrists in this world...I'm one of those people who holds the door for anyone, smiles at strangers (even if they think I'm crazy), and have been known to give my last dollar to anyone who asked for it. Although after a few hefty dry cleaning bills I've given up the whole coat in the muddy puddle routine, walk around it jeez...
I'm comfortable around strangers and new people, in a casual environment, or even in a tux at a gala or ball type event. Though if I start humming the James Bond theme song...it's probably best to just go with it. btw...Galas...are very cool, and fun to say! ...ok so they're just fun to say.
I like to believe in people. Naive yes...but it makes for a more positive world from my perspective. I've been told that I'm almost annoyingly positive, I don't see how that's a bad thing... Besides, I like being an optimist in a world of cynics, if my glass is half full and theirs is half empty...that means I have more, and who the hell is going to complain about that?
Looking for someone who knows what they want...or at least a basic idea, right? Give me SOMETHING to work with. ;-) But a girl that can dish it out as well as she can take it, being able to think on her feet is a requisite and if she has an undertone of sarcasm in most of her conversations that's a plus.
Looking for Friends to start, because any good relationship has to have a good friendship as it's foundation. We don't necessarily have to have everything in common, in fact disagreement is sometimes a good thing. At least it gives you something to talk about.
SOME ADDITIONS: I want a girl who will run through the rain to get wet, not to get out of it. A girl that will eat the chocolate snack paks, cuz' I only eat the vanilla ones...A girl that can make a joke as well as take a joke. Who sees the value in a day not wasted, but also has no problem taking a lazy day every once in a while. A girl who can throw down on some halo or rock band, but also glam up for a night on the town (I don't think it's fair that guys are the only ones who have to be so multi-faceted)
Factoids about me: I'm left handed, think Casa Bonita is awesome...even if the food definitely isn't, favorite candy is yellow; lemon heads, lemon starburst, yellow m&m's, yellow jelly beans. I prefer dark chocolate to milk chocolate, coconut to peanuts, beef to fish, chicken to beef. I like when a girl plays with my hair, I like to just listen to music while laying on the floor chatting/thinking about the universe. (yes, I chat when no one is there)
I think that someone who knows movie or tv show quotes is awesome. (Family guy, Friends, or Monty Python and the Holy Grail will get you bonus points, and if you know who Trogdor is...then you're just too cool for school.) I speak french semi-fluently, know enough spanish to start a fight, and enough german to get drunk, same for japanese.
So...to summarize: I'm sweet as pie, funny as a Will Ferrell movie, cute as a...button? Are those actually cute? Whatever...Smart as the first 3 Sections of an Encyclopedia, oh and also the V section. I like to think I'm a romantic, I mean I try to be, though I still have yet to find a boombox big enough for that outside the window moment... I'm very ambitious in life, I have many goals; most of which I'm accomplishing right now or soon to be. And of course, I'm good at both knitting AND crocheting. Drop me a line if you're interested, perhaps I'll bite.
Oh, also...I like to IM rather than e-mail; it's just faster...so don't be alarmed or think I'm a creep if I IM you outta the blue. It's simply to talk. =) That means I thought you were interesting, or funny, or something to that affect
P.S. - I realize that in some of the pictures, I seem to have food on my face. That was either alchohol related or to enhance the photo quality. Or it was really good food...but I promise that I actually have impressive table manners. Like...seriously impressive!
Oh Also! I just tried to read it all before the song was done...and I'm not sure if maybe I was dancing more than reading or if it just takes me extra long to sound out the big words that I seem to use so often. But it should make all of you feel better that I couldn't make it to the end...I had to play it twice!
First Date
Hmmm...let me think on that; we'd have to first test your social limits by seeing what you would do for a Klondike Bar. Cuz' if you can't jump on one foot while singing Henry the Eighth in public then I don't know that we'll get along that well. Right...well, as you can see I'm drawing a blank, I'm more of a go where the wind blows me kinda guy, so maybe some kite flying...or sailing...Ha! I like Balloon animals too...Seriously though, I like to talk, but I also like to have fun, so maybe like a good conversation over a nice game of paintball or laser tag. If you like coffee we could do that too, I just don't remember what the Starbuck's policy on paintball is...I'll look into that. I can get pretty creative when it comes to dates, so I guess it'll depend on the occasion, or day of the week I suppose...Tuesdays are always good!
Oh...update! I found out (by way of experience) that Starbucks is FIRMLY against paintball in their stores. Apparently...so are the Police. And no I'm not talking about Sting's old Band, though I would bet those uptight Brits are against paintball in Starbuck's too...
