It's Sunday morning and here I sit with a fresh brewed cup of coffee, trying to condense the essence of myself into a paragraph or two. Not an easy task, as you know, but I'm up to the challenge. So here goes, me in a nutshell (not that I'm a nut).

After 27 years of marriage, and raising 3 children, (my 18 year old son still lives with me) I find myself back in the dating scene. Marriage is something which I embraced and felt whole within, and do miss. The partnership of two people learning, living, and loving together is an experience I cherish. That said, I'm not naive regarding my current state of mind, nor the need for me to ease back into another relationship. On the other hand, I'm not interested in cloistering myself until the legalities of my divorce are complete. Life is an education, and I want to be sure I get the most from mine. My life is full of interesting people and I love learning from them on a daily basis. We have so much to give to each other, its a shame to spend time alone.

I'm a regular, nice, honest, reliable guy who is financially and emotionally stable, knows how to have fun, and still believes in being a gentleman. I've been around the block a few times, and I think I understand what it takes to make a relationship work. Life has taught me the importance of empathy, kindness, compassion, and knowing how to truly love someone, through the up times and the down. I'm very easygoing, a good listener, funny, loving, caring, passionate, and romantic (Of course, what else would I say?) :)

Life has a lot to offer right now, and I'm looking for someone to share new adventures with. I'm interested in meeting someone who wants to be friends first, and if things mesh, more. If you're interested in dating someone who's well mannered, well educated, financially secure, kind, compassionate, romantic, and passionate, I'm all of that, and more. My tastes are very eclectic, and there isn't much I won't do or try at least once. I love the outdoors (camping, hiking, boating) but I also appreciate the finer things in life, too (fine dining, live theater, museums). I love to travel and would like to find someone who would like to see the world, is willing to really experience what life has to offer, and isn't afraid to try new things.
