I've "met" some incredible people here on POF, so I owe this place a lot. Glad my search engine brought me here. To all the ladies who have given me insight and support, thanks so much. I hope I've been able to return the favor in at least some small way.

It's kinda funny. I know everyone always says they like all kinds of music, but with me it's a little bit more literal I think. In the last twenty minutes, as I sit here with my headphones in, I've listened to Keri Hilson, Maroon 5, Nas, Rob Thomas, Kings of Leon, Rihanna and Earth Wind and Fire. In no particular order, just mixed in together completely random. I do believe there was even a Toby Keith song in there somewhere. I don't care much for metal...I think it has something to do with the screaming mixing in with the sounds of my children in the background. A little bit too much for me.

I think I'm pretty funny, so I suppose that would be my strongest personality trait. I can tell you what I'm not, instead of what I am though. It's not that I don't know--it's simply a much shorter list.

What I'm not:

A hood rat or anyone's stereotype.

Looking for a man to pay for my multiple kids by multiple fathers. Believe me, they have only one, and I know this because they all came at the same time on the same day. Not to mention, I think I'd recall getting that much action.

Uptight.

Lookin' to get laid. Sex is lovely, don't get me wrong. But the idea of sex with strange men who need the internet to get it is just plain creepy.

Looking for a sugar daddy.

Looking to BE someone's sugar mama. Had a few try that one, and I have kids to take care of. Not interested in taking care of a grown ass man.

A rebound girl. I admit to allowing myself to be used for psycho-analysis from time to time, and evidently I make a damn fine amateur shrink. But seriously, if you're having troubles getting over your ex, just deal with 'em. Life will be waiting for you on the other side of it.

An experiment. I think I will spontaneously combust (and not in a good way) the next time someone tells me "I've never dated a black woman before". Good (or bad, depending on how ya look at it) for you! I just don't have the patience anymore to debunk any myths or strange ideas people have based on skin color.

Wouldn't that depend on the two people involved? This question kinda floors me.
