I am currently separated for 4 years and expect the final freedom to go thru this winter. After which I plan to move my son and myself to Anamosa, Iowa to be near family . This is a new life and adventure that I would love to have a special lady share with me.

I am a loving, playful, and HIGHLY affectionate guy. . I am nothing if not attentive to a woman's needs and wants.

I have a son who is my light and life and was born in 1999. He and I like to fish, canoe and camp together as well as play nintendo and other games.

I also like to putz around in my workshop, fixing toys, building things and just messing with stuff.

Movies and music are vital to me in my daily life, I hardly go anywhere, without tunes playing. Normally its vintage country music if I am alone BUT my other tastes run a wide spectrum and include sinatra, classic rock, 50's , show tunes, and some others.

I am a man at heart BUT also very UNIQUE. I dont like sports or beer or even being competitive. I simply like to be appreciated and loved for myself. I am deeply emotional and sensual, without being whimpy or effeminate.
( although one of my gf's said that I'd be perfect for a BI woman because I have the parts and drive of a man with the gentle style of another woman.

I enjoy and desire a life where sexuality permeated my daily life. Pats and gropes, kisses and caresses throughout the day blended seemlessly with " normal things " like doing dishes together, yard work or shopping.

A lover of mine should show me a sense of playfulness and fun that I cherish . She would " fake me out " that she was still hours away and then minutes later call me to say that she was in my driveway.

I love being on my cellphone with a woman who appreciates being praised and flirted with each day.

I am a college grad, with a bachelors of liberal arts ( General Studies ) I was raised in a farm area, and have worked on farms. I am in a very odd situation at the moment, married, but we have begun the long process of repairing and selling our home and then filing our papers to complete the divorce. This marriage was a mistake and a struggle from the start and yet still I worked and strained top make it work for 17 years.. SO I am technically married but we ARE in procedure of divorcing, and have lived separate for 3 years, and are workin out details. BUT I have ALREADY been alone in my own way for YEARS as we lived disconnected. And she moved out of our home almost 3 years ago. . I will definately be like " Once bitten, Twice shy " , BUT I desire such a large degree of closeness that I am sure somewhere there is a girl or woman who can re-awaken the husband in me. I just hope I can find her and that she's in my life soon.

There is a LESS than a zero desire or chance of my marriage ever again being more than a memory . . We are just tooo different, and life is far too short to live so unhappy.


I deeply believe that " LOVE means ALWAYS knowing that your partner is on your side ". There is no one alive who ever knew me that can challenge my devotion and giving nature to those who matter to me. Bonding and intimate connectedness is the most important thing to maintain in a relationship and I work at it.

I live my life by a short list of personal codes. . .

1) Honesty at all costs ( Lies have to be covered up, but the truth can walk around naked )

2) Live and Let live

3) My RIGHTS to punch someone, ends at the tip of their nose.

4) ANYONE who can't take me the way I am can just bug off. ( Usually a stronger verb is used here )

5) My son's future and the rest of the children's is more vital than my own current happiness.

6) Always Mean what you say and say what you mean

I am a forthright and plain spoken farm boy who means what he says.


7) To HAVE A good friend, BE a good friend.


8) If you're gonna pray for rain, don't **** about the mud.

9) Man made God NOT the other way around. DONT be pumpin religion at me cuz its all just good intentioned mythology to me.


I differ alot from the stereotypical male. NO sports or competiveness, very sensitive and generous in love. No hangups about which gender that makes the most money or has the most control. Relationships should " balance out " in the gives and takes in the long run anyway. Romance comes naturally to me and I am quite sentimental.

I enjoy writing poetry and relating with people to their world through writing. At this time I live as a disabled stay at home daddy, BUT I also hope to someday share tales and adventures with the world thru my writing. My extended family has a rich and active backlog of stories that need to be told.


Once I am comfortable with someone I can really let go and be funny and spontaneous. BUT at first may seem a little tame.

My closest friends would say that I am devoted, loyal, and open.

My heart races and I get seriously giddy at the thought of finding that special connection. I am not gonna " beat the bushes " for her but am always open to whatever the universe may provide for chances to meet someone .

I need a very special woman. A balance of sexually hungry and yet faithful. Of fun and wild, yet responsible and logical. Someone old enough to relate to me but young enough ( or young minded enough ) to stay in shape and have free spirited fun.

My ideal first date would be a long evening. First maybe some bowling/pool/or rollerskating, maybe a trip thru a zoo, ( something of that nature ) for a hour or so in the late afternoon.
Followed by an early dinner at a nice sit down restaurant.
After the meal a leisurely stroll or sitting in a park or other quiet place to talk. After that we'd go to a lake shore or riverbank to watch the moon shine on the water and REALLY get to know each other more with some personal questions and answers.
( In a PERFECT world this should last almost until dawn with both of us feeling that it really hadn't been that long, and not wanting the evening to end - BUT Life isnt the movies so don;t expect this much ) . Maybe some hugging and hand holding and then definate talk of meeting again SOON.


The best thing of a good first date is to wake up the next day with that person still on your mind and an itching to call her or see her again. Any other itches would be bad . Ha Ha Ha ha ha
