I work 12-hour shifts in a high stress job I love. I know I make a difference every day. Because of my rotating shift, some activities have to be planned out. However, being spontaneous is still possible.
I share custody of my daughter with my ex-husband. We get along fine, so there's no drama with him. As a matter of fact, he and his girlfriend joined my daughter and me on our last vacation. Sounds weird, I know, but it worked out just fine.
I try to deal with life with a sense of humor. Life can be too serious sometimes. This isn't to say I can't be serious because I can when I need to be. But why be that way all the time? I would like to find someone with a similar sense of humor and irreverence. He also must be willing to tolerate some sarcasm, puns and corny jokes. Participation is even better!
I am looking for someone at least as tall as I am. Looks aren't important, as long as most of the parts are in the correct places. I would much rather be with someone who knows how to have fun and can hold his own in a battle of wits.
I love baseball, but I don't understand football. (You can teach me about football if you want to. Otherwise, enjoy the game with your friends!)
I love to cook, and I can cook quite well. (My ex says that's what he misses about me the most.)
I love classic rock and music from the 80's. I listen to JACK-FM in my car if I'm not listening to my MP3 player. And that has everything from Bluegrass and Jazz to Old School Rap.
My dogs are my best buddies. Charlie (in the picture) is a pit bull/dachshund mix. Bumblebee is a Gordon Setter/bassett hound mix. Both are rescues.
I love camping. My daughter and I go at least once during the summer. (I had never been camping until I went with my ex while we were dating. I'm still open to trying new things!) We also participate in Renaissance Faires, so we camp there too.
I love motorcycles, tattoos (but don't have any), and a man in a uniform! And I love to see your pets in your pictures!
