I was out browsing male profiles recently and thought OMG what can a person say about themselves to draw immediate attention to the kind of person they want to meet without sounding arrogant or desperate? The truth is I don't work out every day, but I'm not out of shape. I don't spend all of my free time helping the homeless, but I'm a caring and giving person. I take care of my family. I take of my friends. I take of business. For fun I bowl on Friday nights, play golf whenever I can, and I watch the Cowboys play every Sunday (with a passion). Bottom line is I'd love to fill in all that in-between time with someone special. I'd love to share my passions and discover new ones with the right man. I could go on and on about myself, but I'd rather make a connection with a man who wants to take the time to discover me for himself, and vice versa. Putting yourself out there on-line is scary and a long shot, but I guess the old saying "nothing ventured, nothing gained" could still hold true. Do you want to take the time to e-mail me?

How can anyone document a "canned" first date? I would think after communicating we could figure out what would be appropriate. :)
