Proof is in the pudding...anybody can say anything here or on first encounter...it is what manifests itself at a later time, that is essential to a meaningful relationship. Having said that, I am interested in a real woman..one who is secure within herself and sure of what she brings to the table. Leave the x behind, what counts is that you are here now. Not everything works out according to your wish...for a reason...trust it! I am not looking to go on constant dates...interviewing or screening...I am much too involved in the final teenage years of my 2 children.I enjoy the format of email and IM. It allows me to get to know a lot about someone and the same applies to the person I am talking to...she can develop a sense of me. I am very comfortable with my not being in a relationship...I can be in a room by myself and do just fine...but there are many, many parts in a relationship that I miss or never had. It seems from profiles and talking to some of the women on POF...women have no problem stating what they want in a man...be it physical or mental...yet most men do not give out a lot of preferences...guess that is the "hunter" in men. All I know is I know what I like or don't like...I know I do not want to spend the rest of my life...walking on the beach, or traveling to far away places, or dancing every night away ( well, maybe a few times! ) So if that is important to you, that is great...there are men out there that would honor those wishes all the time...but I am probably not your "perfect mate". It is not that I do or do not enjoy these places it just seems to be a requirement for some. Try getting me away from Little River Inn up the Ca coast:)
