I'm feisty; funny, passionate, compassionate, cute as a button, independant, have a huge heart of gold, a hopeless romantic and .... I can pump my own gas, build a kick ass fire, hook my own worm and still look pretty sexy in that little something black.

Altho older and somewhat wiser I still drink a cold drink until I get a brain freeze, only now it's an Ice Cap as opposed to a Slurpee. I don't like black licorice. I've never flown a kite. Cotton balls make my teeth shiver. I drive with two feet and I drive an automatic. I don't understand the thong; people spend their entire lives pulling their underwear outta their butt and then they invent the thong? Luv the sushi wraps but not the raw fish. Not eating it if it smells like Lockport. But I luv going to Lockport, getting an ice cream and sitting along the stinky water's edge just because it's there. The stars and the night sky amaze me. Dolphins make me cry and I have no idea why. Doesn't anyone eat Gondola combination thin crust pizza anymore?!?!?

I've had a tough life as a child - spent some time on the streets, since age 9, no not selling my body, just no where to live and trying to survive. Sure I have some battle scars of life, who hasn't. I've made some mistakes in my life and some wonderful choices; all of which has made me who I am today. I don't live in the past and I don't use the past as an excuse to screw up my life now. You can't change the past and you can't live in it. Learn from it and move forward. Life is just too short.

I'll pretty much try anything once. I've lived in this city my entire life, have never had an opportunity to travel because I've been so busy raising my kids and I haven't seen a darn thing that wasn't connected to a back pack, a car pool, smelly gym shoes or teenage drama ..... lol! So I can't wait to get started on this new journey of mine along with new experiences. Care to join me?

I'm looking for the same thing everyone else is; that spark, that heart skips a beat (okay at our age, I'll settle for a firm flutter), that can't wait until I see you again warm and mushy. That infamous chemistry. You gotta be a great kisser! Like to hold hands, snuggle, walk hand in hand, and not be afraid to show that the lady you're with (that would be me) really knocks your socks off! I like to pamper and be pampered.

I've always taught my kids that if they can't remember anything else in life to at least remember mama's one rule; to treat people as you would like them to treat you.

Great Grama Alice once told me "don't waste your life on someone you can't live with or, you'll miss the one you can't live without." I finally get it.

Through some of the Plenty Of Fish (POF) get-togethers I've attended; I've made many wonderful friends here who I will carry with me for the rest of my life and who have affectionately nick-named me ........... "PP" ..... :}

Yes, it does turn heads when it's yelled out in public, especially when people point and yell "Hey, you're PP!!!" and the people I'm with who are not familiar with POF, raise their eyebrows and quickly glance at my crotch.

My friends will tell you, I'd give the shirt off my back for anyone, but, when it comes to my heart, you'll need patience to find that underneath my brave exterior, lies a very passionate, tender and sensitive woman. In a heartbeat, I'd go toe-to-toe with a 6 foot bully causing someone harm, but would still look to the comfort of being wrapped in your arms when a child takes his first step, or an animal takes it's last breath.

My hot roller look makes me giggle and my morning hairdo scares the beejeebers out of me. I love my kids; the strength in me, my tattoo; the rebel in me, my sensitivity and compassion; the Pisces in me, and my dog; who loves me unconditionally. The fact that people assume I'm many years younger than I am never fails to humble me. I was blessed with great genes ... :}

I'm directionally challenged; no, like "seriously" directionally challenged. Example - found Clandeboye while trying to find a cabin the kids and I rented at Victoria Beach. Landed in Birds Hill instead of Transcona and took 2 hours to find Osborne Village ..... from Garden City. I know, scares the poop out of me too, not to mention my passengers ... hee-hee-hee!

I've managed to survive parenting completely on my own, without any help. There's no dad in the picture. Raised both of my kids alone; physically, emotionally and financially. Put myself thru 4 years of school for Nursing and worked 4 jobs while we lived on Kraft Dinner and Kool-Aid. Thought I got thru the most challenging part but man, when my kids became teenagers, it really made me appreciate why some animals eat their young...!

I also tend to be somewhat accident prone. Okay more than somewhat. Ask me about the coffee can I snap-attached to my boob; carried that whopping bruise around for several months. Or the friends kitchen I completely wall-papered in coleslaw. Or, the backwards ass-over-tea-kettle trip I nearly took down an embankment and into a man-made lake while poop-scooping and trying to shoo away wasps, whacking myself in the noggin with the poop bag in the process. Not to mention the crop circle which got seared into my boob not too long ago - yep same boob I snapped the coffee can too. What can I say, I keep the neighbours entertained, as they watch from the safety of their homes.

I'm not looking for someone to fix me, to save me or to take care of me. I'm also not looking to be your counsellor or your mother. If you have issues please move along; I've resolved mine and I'm ready to move forward.

Sexy? It's that slow dance thru the livingroom, wrapped in your arms - instead of doing those dishes. Candles, wine, music, just you and me, now that's sexy.

As far as finding a partner; that special one, I'm in no hurry, life is good, I'm content and I'm happy. And, when it's meant to be, I know it will be. And if you do land this girl's heart, you'll never look back.

About you - taller than me, looks good, smells good, must be house broken. And please boys, old enough to shave! You must be youthful and energetic and full of life as well. You have to be easy going, laid back and not the strap the vaccum to the dog's butt kinda laid back. The kind of person who sees the glass as half full instead of half empty. Who can see the positive in every negative. And it goes without saying, must be directionally competent!

Believe in yourself so someone else can. Love yourself so someone else can.
