I didn't put a list of interests up because the list would be too long and it tends to change based on my mood. I'm prepared to try just about anything at least once or twice except for a few of the things I used to have to do in the army (usually involving knee-deep mud, swamps and freezing rain). I am also not that fond of opera or football (actually, I have a distaste for both).

I usually try to take life a day at a time and at a relaxed pace, but not so relaxed that I lose track of the days (except for summer). The main reason for that is that is that I worry I might forget what day it is and be late for work. This is not to say that I am a workaholic but I have a pretty sweet job with lots of vacation time and I feel a little guilty about not being there without a good reason.

I am a single parent of two boys (well, not exactly boys anymore since they are both old enough to be out of the house now). As far as what I am looking for, I'm pretty open (body type, race, etc.) but my preference is for a woman who knows what she wants and isn't afraid to say so. I guess that means that openess and honesty are a must (don't really need another Mike Douglas moment). I put down "long-term" but, since these things take time I am open to just dating as long as there is a willingness to consider more if it seems right.

That's about it for now. Oh yeah, the undecided/open part about kids means I don't mind adding more to the two I have but I'm not so sure about starting from scratch. I will add more as I think of it.

Open here as well. Something that is not too stressful, an afternoon outing, coffee, dinner. Something involving food might be nice as eating is a good way to fill the awkward silences while you think of what to say next.
