The visual arts are my passion and my vocation, but I enjoy the theater, concerts, poetry and dance. I have traveled extensively in the U.S., Canada and Europe. I swim laps year round and bike in warmer months. Also I read, listen to music, play the piano, and draw/paint. I love most music and listen mostly to classical, vocal jazz, and pop. I enjoy a large variety of cuisines, but on a daily basis eat healthy foods. I love to sit with a cup of tea/coffee, beer or wine and talk with friends or a friend. I love to laugh until my face and sides ache. I love to be around my family, especially my grandchildren. I like congenial gatherings, but favor one friend at a time. My personality is reserved until I get to know you better. I love to go to the movies, to dinner or to visit friends spontaneously. I am imaginative and creative. I love the outdoors during all the seasons. Walking in a forest, canoeing on a quiet lake, watching wildlife and birds, swimming as the sun sets, listening to the sounds of insects, birds or water are tranquil moments for me. I am affectionate and caring. I am quick to smile and responsive to others. I am patient and a good listener. I love to learn and I love helping others to discover and learn, as well. I am hard working and try to do my best. I like those who feel comfortable with themselves and are willing to share the good and bad of their lives. I like people who are approachable and genuine.

First, I'd enjoy coffee or lunch nearby as an introduction. Later, I like going for long walks followed by dinner or a movie. I like spontaneous trips, concerts, plays or sipping a glass of wine curled up on a sofa. I love conversation that delves below the surface.
