Weird things happen to me; nothing that you should be afraid of, but just realize that if we get together, you're in for a wild ride. I work in a school and spend my days transfering the knowledge in my head into the minds of inspired youth, well, I like to think of them that way at least. My ultimate goal is to teach at the college level, but right now I can't complain about my situation one bit.

I'm fortunate to be surrounded by amazing people who nudge me to be spontaneous when I'm feeling pragmatic, or ground me when I'm too idealistic. I love staying up late -- whether it's to party or just read a good book -- but never let it interfere with daytime plans, which may include mountain biking, tennis, or just going for walks. I shouldn't brag, but my walking ability is definitely in the top 10 in the city.

As for where you fit in, I'm looking for someone with a bit of an edge to them, a strong sense of self, and an open mind to find humor and adventure in unexpected places.
