First off, I'd like to say that there is no way to write these things and sound cool. I have such a hard time with autobiographical writing. To me, it always comes off at least somewhat masturbatory. Hence, I'll attempt to keep this short and sweet.

As far as music goes, I'm all over it. I love music in almost all of its forms. If you're a fan of the theory-of-a-nickle-creed variety, I don't know that we'll get along... In my youth I listened primarily to punk rock and its offshoots, but have since broadened my horizons to encompass a lot of indie-dancey music as well. At heart, however, I must admit I'm a big emo-loving loser. Anyone with a soft spot for Dashboard Confessional gets mad awesome points from me! I'm open to checking out nearly anything, but I'm reasonably picky.

I'm far from religious, but I'd say I'm at least spiritual. Although, spiritual may not be the best word to describe it... Let's just say I'm very interested in all kinds of philosophies surrounding life and existence as we know it. I'm really interested in some Eastern traditions, but there isn't really any one in particular that I use as a guide for my life. Just a smattering of different theories and philosophies.

I'm also a total nerd. Proper grammar, spelling and a strong vocabulary are big in my books. Again, because I'm a total nerd.

I'm looking to meet people that are into interesting things. If you don't read and aren't curious about life, I don't know that we would have too much to discuss.

I'm pretty easygoing and I love doing random spontaneous things. A friend and I once took off on a random Sunday roadtrip and wound up at a curling bonspiel. Such is my life. I should probably admit that I am painfully unathletic, as that seems to be something many people on here are looking for. I've always lacked the co-ordination and depth perception for most sports. I do enjoy camping, primarily for the commune with friends in a relaxing environment, free from the pressures of time. It's less about "communing with nature" for me. That's not to say I'm not occasionally awestruck by a placid lake at sunrise.

Anyway, I think that was neither short nor sweet, so I'll cut it off here. Congrats to those who actually made it all the way through my blathering!

I'm not too picky. A day out snowboarding, dinner and drinks... Really, if the company and conversation is good, that's all that matters.
