I have spent the last nine years raising my kids by myself and have put all my energy into doing just that. It has not been easy as I have a full time job and even worked shiftwork for awhile. The early years when the kids were just starting school were the toughest. I Thank God I have a very supportive family and a great Mom.
I must admit that over the years that there have been some very lonely times. Christmas and hollidays are the worst and even some trips in the summertime. I am feeling now that a change has to happen although I do not regret the time I have spent because my kids are great and I am very proud of them.
Now it may sound weird but my horoscope on my birthday said that something I have been involved with over the past nine years was diminishing or coming to an end. I took this as a kick in the a.. to start to do something about it. I do believe in astrology, by the way.
As for me, I am a very easy going guy. I'm kinda quiet until I know you but loosen up if I've had a few drinks. I am a big fan of Nascar and love to go to the races. I enjoy eating in a fine resturant but am just as comfortable at McDonald's with the kids. I play a little guitar and my daughter plays piano. I'm not into smoking at all so if you smoke I won't bother (long story). I will not get married again becuase it puts too much pressure on people these days, life should be fun. That said, I do believe in commitment however.
I found out about this site last fall from my sister and thought I would take a peek to see who else may be in a similar situation. If I sound OK please message me as I would love to hear from someone with similar interests.
