Hi! My name is Andrea. I'm 28 and live in South County. I am relatively new to this site and don't quite know what to expect. That, and I'm no good at talking about myself, but what the heck, I'll give it a whirl.

I've had a lot of horrible luck in the dating world. Some guys out there just don't seem to appreciate a girl with brains, someone who is fiercely loyal to her significant other, and someone who values trust above all else. However, I firmly believe that there are some good guys left out there. I just need a little convincing :)

My hobbies are reading, watching sports (Cards, Blues, Mizzou), trying to inject some culture into myself by going to coffee houses, museums, various concerts and events around town. I also love camping and doing fun things outside. I also really like going to the gym (I'm not a gym rat--I just started going and really am enjoying it).

My goals are threefold -- get a teaching job that I love, get out of this apartment and into a house, and find someone who turns my world upside down, in a good way.

I think I'm unique in that I'm not like a lot of other girls. I don't like shopping. I love sports and video games. I'm a huge music buff and I can kick your ass at Trivial Pursuit. Bring it on.

I'd really like people to contact me. I love meeting new friends and possibly seeing where it will go from there. I'm a really cool chick who loves having new experiences and sharing my experiences with others. I will reply to every message, being that one of my pet peeves is people who do not respond to messages. It's the right thing to do.

Depends on the person. Parks are nice, as are museums and the zoo. The standard dinner works too, or perhaps a coffee house. I am also a big fan of the Loop, walking around and talking, getting to know each other. Movies are so impersonal. You can't talk during a movie.

I'm also really into knowing what the other person is into, so perhaps a stroll around a bookstore or music store would be in order. If anything, it provides for some great conversation!
