Thanks for reading. I'll apologize in advance for my use of the term "minority", but I was forced to be concise. Hope you weren't offended. I fully appreciate that the 'minority/majority' dychotomy is relative to which part of the planet you reside and nothing more. Well then..here's my story. I am well educated, kinda self employed through my hobby, and also amid a professional career change. No worries, I'm financially secure...for now. I have never been married, have no kids, but have had a couple long term common law relationships..proof I am able to commit DAMN IT. I am slender and am often told I look ten years younger than I am and act just as young, if not younger at times. I take both as compliments. I am very honest, open, sincere, conversant, often humourous, intense, passionate, and appreciate dry sarcasm. I have been described by more then one woman as a having the personae of a 'dirty bad boy with a dark side' based on the perception I am considerably street wise as well as academic which makes me seem "mysterious" and adds to my allure..so I've been told anyway. On a good day, I would describe myself as handsome, and/or a GQ wannabe or label whore depending on my mood. I've reluctantly posted a pic...mainly cuz I'm very private, but also because I really don't want any of my former clients knowing my personal life here, or God forbid, messaging me. Hope you can respect that. I am a believer, but not a church goer and I do partake of the herb on occasion. I don't drink alcohol, but don't mind someone who does, as long as your life doens't revolve around it. Hope that explains things. I can promise you respect, brutal honesty, sarcasm, challenging conversations, exhausting nature hikes and some silly childish moments to maintain a balance. I listen to a diverse range of music including Classic Rock, Jazz, Rap, Blues, and can even tolerate an occasional Baroque organ fugue if I have to.

Personally, I loath monster trucks, octogon bloodsports, Dr. Phil, Martha Stewart, Jerry Springer, NASCAR and Survivor. I have no interest in purported "reality tv", and could literally care less who's getting voted off what island or who's going to be the next Idol. You're free to watch it, but PLRASE don't expect me to join you, or care hearing about it. I do not regard woman as 'B's' or 'ho's', although some clearly are....haha. Quite honestly, I need a woman with some attitude, and intellect who is secure enough with herself to express her views, especially if they challenge mine. I am frustrated by passivity, non-commital and ambiguity in others who attempt to conform to avoid conflict. Simple example, if I was to ask what you felt like doing? Tell me plz...don't say "Oh, I don't know, whatever you choose is fine." GRRRRRRR. If you have yet to smile in agreement with me, we are likely not a match. Oh, I also have over a dozen live green plants in my home, which I"m told is important information to know about a single guy, and no spoiled food in my fridge that resembles a Chia Pet. I like to cuddle, but am not clingy. I own a small cottage sized house that I affectionately refer to as my uni-bomber-like cabin. I like my deck, my garden, bird houses, my eclectic furnishings and barbeques. Hope you get a sense of my personality and interests from what you've read.

You can take comfort in knowing that I don't message piles of women in the hopes of finding one, or care much about being on anyone's favourites list. What I'm trying to say is if I've messaged you, it's because I sense I would enjoy your company, and find you interesting. I would never message a women who have revealing pics posted and asking where all the good decent guys are. LIKE DUH, What Ev Errrr. I am not wealthy, don't own a flashy car, and my last name isn't Pitt or Beckham if you get my point. On the other hand, I'm not a Pig, a Sugar Daddy, or Hannibal Lecter..PROMISE...so PLZ don't make assumptions based on my age...at least til you've met me 8(|)

Last but not least, why a young woman of a different culture you may ask??? Well, I don't believe it's racist to state that I am more attracted to women of colour or another ethnicity. I like different I guess, the unique background of one outside my culture is so interesting, captivating, and the exotic allure is fascinating. Finally, I'm hoping for an eventual long term relationship, but not into pressure and intend to enjoy any time we may spend together.

I place no rigid expectations on us initially getting together and would be most comfortable meeting for coffee and cheesecake and having a good conversation and taking a stroll afterwards, if we're connecting. Planned first dates can get awkward so why make elaborate plans? That's my thinking anyway. I say the more casual and relaxed we become together, the more the 'dates' will naturally progress to reflect our common interests and not limited to dinners, movies and more typical dating endeavors. I love buying/selling vintage and antique stuff and going to an occasional auction. I would hope this would also appeal to you, at least at some level. I am open to your suggestions and interests too and would try something new if my life or limb was not placed in jeopardy...PLZ no Karaoke....hehehe.
