A little about my situation:
I'm a full-time student. After this last practicum I will be the proud owner of 2 Bachelor degrees in Psychology and Education. Afterwards the goal is a Masters in counselling and human development. I also work part-time as well. My most important job is being a single mom to a beautiful 11yr old daughter. My schedule gets busy at times as I have goals Im working hard to accomplish.That said, I like myself enough to say that I'm worth the wait if our schedules dont happen to match right away..

Random Specifics:
*I seem to be among the very few in Vancouver who either doesnt like sushi and has never been skiing/boarding.Im special cuz I can claim both.Being born in Calgary Im partial to ice skates and beef.
*I captain a dodgeball team and I believe its slowly traumatizing me.You know those dreams right before you fall asleep that jerk you awake?Mine now involve being hit by dodgeballs.I may need therapy.
*I like to eat peanut butter toast in bed in the morning and tend to get annoyed with myself for the crumbs later that night.
*I am a self-proclaimed and often called starbucks 'whore'(yep I admit to calling myself a dirty word) mmm..toffeenut, eggnog & vanilla mistos (oh my)
*I am a work in progress and definately enjoying the road of improvement.
*I have two cats that invade my personal space. My big tom thinks Im his girlfriend and gets a little jealous.(But hes a pushover for kitty treats)
*I have a lot of clothes,its bordering on being a stupid amount(but I only say so because I hate folding laundry)
*I love to laugh and be playful and fully admit to being a bit (possibly more)quirky and flirty and very much sassy.
*I believe empathy, perspective taking and open communication are vital in maintaining any relationship. Be it in love, friendship or other.
*I find math impossible at times to wrap my head around,it is the one thing so far in my life that has managed to make me feel 'dumb'
*I may request a verbal disclaimer because at times I can be, er, well, not particularly graceful, and I hold no promises for those who are caught in the vicinity though more often than not its good for a laugh
*I have taken a lot time to really get to know myself these past few years. I am ready to find love. However, Im in no big rush to find the one who will compliment, not complete me.
*I am extremely proud that I have kept most of my house plants alive for over a year now
*Cough syrup makes me yell out in my sleep.I know, its strange, and usually scares the bejeebers out of anyone who happens to share the bed with me while im sick..add in the fact that I sleep with my snoring cat, is it a wonder Im single?
*I admire honesty, dedication and integrity..qualities which I possess.
*Ive been driving 7 years now and my only major accident was running into a brick wall at the nursery but come on,who plants a brick wall at a nursery?!
*I tend to speak my mind and have my opinions but I am open-minded to other perspectives and lifestyles. That said, PVC makes me *drool*
*I get manicures.I also shave, wax, bleach, floss, gloss, tint, pluck, exfoliate, moisturize, condition, polish, dye, trim, tone and tan. My hair is soft, Im even told it smells nice but don't let that fool you..I also love my sneakers, ponytails and track suits.I'll play in the mud and have no qualms about kickin your *ss in burping contest..its all about time and place
*I rather speak because I have something to say, then speak to be heard and be thought insincere (this means sometimes Im quiet. And no, nothing is wrong. If there was, im adult enough to tell you)
*I love my family and friends with everything Ive got..so if you fall into those categories you can expect loyalty and someone you can call and count on no matter what the hour
* I think that banana blueberry pancakes are the greatest invention ever! The making/eating of them with whip cream and strawberries, the perfect way to spend a Sunday morning
*I believe in fate, signs, karma and that things happen for a reason..life brings us the lessons we need to learn to grow.Its all about being reflective and open to receiving the message
*I have a soft spot for dimples, great smiles, nice hands, hand lotion is thy friend boys, thumb rings and cheesecake(no particular order..well maybe the cheesecake first)
*I amuse myself. As such I laugh at my own jokes(good or bad) however, Ive been known to make others laugh..whether its with me or at me is a toss up..really does it matter?
*4 things I'll complain about sometimes: Being cold (need to grow me some blubber), heavy backpacks (ugh..freakin textbooks that are bigger than me), people who eat/chew gum with their mouths open (ew), drivers who dont say thank you when you let them in (gives me the urge to finger them)
* I have a strange obsession with feeding squirrels,and one day owning a cow
*I have not done any travelling but its definately a future goal. Oddly enough, for someone who hates being cold Im dying to go to Alaska. Greece, Australia and Egypt are other future destinations.
*A key to happiness: With-holding judgement and finding acceptance so that you can live for this moment. Doing so, the ordinary has possibility of the extraordinary
*I am really scared of bees and chickens give me the wiggins(creepy, intense birds)
*I collect shoes, scarves and ugly underwear(and no, thats not an invitatation to see my panties *smiles*)yet I dont like shopping

*Checking out a band, concert or dj in town
*Taking in a sports game either live or at a pub with a good beer and some wings.
*Catching one of the many cultural/city events going on..
*I am fan of house music so you can find me losing myself to the music on the dance floor occasionally
*Hangin at the beach or in a park..walking/biking the seawall.. (chasing squirrels)
*Going for lunch/dinner and catching a movie (I am a fan of cheesy horror films and movies that make you think/change your perspective)
*Renting movies, ordering in and hangin on the couch.
*Grabbing a bunch of papers, magazines and hanging in one of those comfy starbucks chairs for a few hours sharin what what we see/read
*Getting a bunch of friends together for dinner/drinks and board games.
