My perception of an ideal relationship is: Good and bad relationships are possible at anytime. I've had both. But a great deal depends on both people giving 100% and caring about the other person more than themselves. I believe if I focus on you and care about you than you will care and love me.
It's as simple as that. Love doesn't have to be that complicated. Why should we hold back? Too many people use relationships like a weapon instead of recognizing that we are only diamonds in the rough looking for shining moments.
What I've learned from my past relationships:
Honesty is the most important. If we can't tell the truth than we have nothing to rely on. Being best friends keeps the fire burning. Humor reminds us of our playful side. Understanding will keep us going when we make mistakes. We must forgive the past and the people who hurt us. We can't do anything by hanging it around our neck like a chain. It only drags us down. Love conquers all.
If you ask anyone that knows me, they would say that I am fun to be with,smart, talkative, funny, able to have a good time, thoughtful, sensitive, talented, kind-hearted person. I enjoy being with people but also can appreciate quiet times at home or walking outdoors admiring the beauty God created. I like to cook. I appreciate the heart and smiles in others and try to look beyond their faults remembering that I have my own at times. Most of all, I'm thankful to breathe and know that God created me for a reason and I have a purpose for being here.
