I actively compete in running races and triathlons and am in the best shape of my life. I enjoy playing other sports as well, especially sand volleyball and ultimate frisbee. I dislike watching sports because I usually find it boring. Why watch when you can play? I like being outdoors and am very open about trying new things. I love making people laugh and I am very good at doing so. I've even been putting together my own stand-up comedy routine and might give the comedy club a shot one of these days. My other hobbies include reading, writing, watching all types of movies, and creating works of art. Really though, my hobbies are way too numerous to list here.

I am an intellectual and a philomath and absolutely love studying and learning new things. Some days I find myself reading articles on wikipedia for hours without even intending to. I'm a very compassionate and kind person so the "bad boy" image doesn't apply. I love animals and volunteer at a local shelter on weekends. I don't drink alcohol but am fine being around others who are drinking responsibly. I don't smoke nor do I use drugs and I don't wish to be around individuals who do those activities. You'll almost never find me in bars, clubs, or at parties as I just don't enjoy myself very much in those types of environments, although I do attend them occasionally. My primary goal in life is to make as much of a positive impact on the world as I can do so in my lifetime.


I would like to find a woman who has more or less the same qualities that I do and shares a few common interests with me. This means I want a girl who is intelligent, athletic, kind, and has a great sense of humor. Women who display both intelligence and athleticism are very attractive to me, but that doesn't mean that you need to have a PhD and be a professional athlete. I enjoy having sophisticated conversations, so you need to be able to talk about more than just celebrities, parties, and shopping. I'm an ambitious and passionate person, so I'd prefer to meet someone who has goals and motivations in life.

* Women who are parents (I don't want that complication in a relationship right now)
* Heavy drinkers (frequently drink to the point of being intoxicated)

* Substance users, including marijuana.
* Those who do not have a college degree or are not currently pursuing one

It depends on who its with. I'm a very straight forward and honest person so I would work with my date to figure out something that we would both enjoy. After all, its best that both people have fun when they first go out together. Personally though, I'd prefer doing something active like going on a hike and having a picnic in the park rather than something passive such as movie and a dinner.
