First of all, I know I'm not very attractive. But hey! I've got a great personality! lol. To quote Popeye, "I yam what I yam what I yam and I yam what I yam and that's all that I yam 'cause I yam what I yam!"

I'm a field engineer for an industrial computer company. Basically I work with automation, industrial PCs, and programming (a computer nerd!). I currently work from a home office but am required to travel across Canada to assist customers from day to day. I was in the military previously as an Armoured Officer.

Physically..I have been told I am athletic. I believe I have a couple of love handles while others would tend to disagree.

I live alone or rather with my big puppy, Lab-Sheppard cross, Buster. When not working I have lots of interests (see above). I purchased a fixer-upper hobby-farm/home and am enjoying working on it (yes, I have a tractor :P). Although I am busy, I always make time for those I care about.

I like to work hard and play harder. I believe chivalry is not dead and respect the beliefs and opinions of others. I have no problem being the only one going left when the entire crowd is going right. I enjoy going out and having fun as much as staying in having drinks on the floor by a fire or watching movies. I am a bit of a hopeless romantic and enjoy cuddling and kissing. I do my best to live life to the fullest by trying not to concentrate on the bad things in life. I do my best to be honest, loyal and supportive to everyone I meet. I let my conscience be my guide. I’m the kind of guy who is willing to give the shirt off his back for a family member in need. This all said, I can also throw 3 sheets to the wind and have fun time with the right person. I am a dedicated person who knows where he is going and am determined to accomplish my goals.

Ideal partner...Great smile and eyes. You know, the kind of eyes and smile that a guy can just get lost in and makes his knees go weak (don’t worry, any glasses won’t impede my image of you). Eyes and smile that makes me see only her across a crowded room. Mentally I am looking for someone who is open-minded and independent yet still needs her man. She would need to be intelligent. I don't necessarily mean school degrees, but a good head on her shoulders. She always has to be trustworthy, and can trust others (when earned of course). Being a little romantic wouldn't hurt either.

Please understand that I am a sincere person and expect the same. Taking things slow would be very much appreciated.

Meeting for a tea/coffee with a good conversation to learn more about one another. If we hit it off then maybe something where the conversation can continue. This could be anything. For example: a simple walk, mini golf, pool, rock climbing, swimming, biking, a run, the list is endless!
