I am very stable with a good disposition. I am a no drugs, social drinker, friends, family ties, good employment, looks on the bright side of life type of a guy. I am active and in shape. I am very flexible with activities. I enjoy live music and out door concerts. Blues, jazz, oldies, rock, some classical, no rap. I like to try new things. I try to live a healthy life style and a partner would help. I am widowed and had a good marriage. It takes two to make things work right and it did for us. I did support groups and has healed. I understand there maybe some concerns about dating a widower who had a good marriage. I know better to compare. It's a mistake to do so. I do not bring baggage with me and am not looking for baggage in a relationship. I bring no drama with me. My kids are grown and do not live with me. Friends tell me people I meet seem to think highly of me.
I would love to meet an attractive, slim to average built lady. Who is kind and loving. If she is very intelligent( many are ) I would respect her for her intelligence. But she doesn't have to be a genius or a 10. It would be nice if she attends church but not a must. I attend sometimes, once a month. I understand this isn't bad for a single guy. I do not understand a person putting Missouri as a location. They may live over two hundred miles from someone in the St. Louis area. I see nothing wrong with a lady having a picture in a pair of shorts or a swim suit. But do the women with half dressed pictures posted think she will meet a self respecting guy with morals and values? Guess I will never know.........
I am a very passionate male but you may not think this on our first date. I do not get over touchy in public but I love to hold hands. If you're not attracted I do not try to force the issue. How does that song go? I can't make you love me if you don't. This makes a lot of sense to me so why try if you don't and never will? I do have a life to live and want to live it as best as I can.
I do not look for a lady to have the exact interests as I do. We can learn and experience new things together. We do need to share a few. We need to have some of the same traits. Some what out going and active. A kind forgiving heart, looks on the bright side of life, and very pleasant. I am this way. If she isn't we are not a good match. My glass is half full. I am told I do not know a stranger. I make friends easily. I smile and laugh a lot and I am very social. If compatible you maybe surprised how nice I treat you and your family.
One correction. I am 62. I put in 56 a couple of years ago I was 60 going on 61. This site will not let members change their age after a certain time. I did not know this then but it's in the guide lines. I would have changed it. My thinking was I noticed many women may have 60 as an age limit in her mail settings so a guy over 60 can't e mail her and is blocked out. Did she just round off the number? Is a year or two more alright with her? I would think so. I do not want to make a new profile with a new name. Please do not look at this as a negative issue with me.
