I currently attend Algonquin College part-time in the Social Service Worker program. My hope is to someday do social work in a correctional facility or work in a residential facility for federal offenders.

If I had to describe myself (which in this case I do), I would have to say that I'm smart, outgoing, direct, quirky, funny with a good sense of humor, devoted, faithful, loyal, reliable, sweet, kind, caring, and I know when to be serious. I enjoy writing poetry, dancing, trying out new restaurants, and meeting new people. On dates, I like to keep things simple. So, staying in, cuddling on the couch, and watching movies is fine with me.

The kind of guy I would like to meet should be honest, mature, respectful, acceptant, understanding, genuine, considerate, romantic, sweet, and quirky, with a good sense of humor, but knows when to be serious....and should be completely different from every other guy out there. I'm especially fond of guys with a goatee (or soul patch), tattoos and/or piercings, and love handles. I would also like to meet a guy who loves to dance, but it's okay if he doesn't. I am a non-smoker, and would like to meet other non-smokers. A drinker is fine provided they are not a heavy drinker. I am not interested in meeting anyone who uses drugs. I think the most important thing I can say is that I just want to meet your average, regular, every day kind of guy. I'm not specifically looking for guys who are super athletic and muscular. I don't think there's anything wrong with having a few extra pounds. There'd just be more of him to love, and I like a guy that I can really cuddle up with. Looks only matter in the sense that I should be attracted to the person. It doesn't matter if you have a car or not because material possessions don't define a person's worth. For a first date, the most important thing to me is to find somewhere that my date and I can go where we can have some privacy and some quiet time to talk and really get to know one another.
