I'm an easy going guy, just looking to meet someone as a friend first and if things work out, we'll go from there. I like to talk and laugh, and listen. I can have fun doing most things if the communication is there.

I'm goal oriented and like working towards something. I also like helping people when I can and usually try to do so whenever possible. For instance, I bailed someone out of jail last year at 1 a.m. for not paying a ticket. That's me, call me up if you need help, lol!

A long term relationship would be great but I think friendship is the only place/thing worth having. So, if you want friendship, I'm your man. If you want more, better start with friendship first. More is no good without it.

Okay, I thought it might be a good idea to post some stuff about the music I like. I'll probably start out with just a few groups and add more as time goes on. I was at one time really big into the indie/alternative music scene and it's still my favorite. These days, I just listen to it, I don't really hunt down new music like I once did.

To give you an example, I knew about Nine Inch Nails way back in 1989 and U2 in 1984. I also knew about ColdPlay about six months before everyone else but I found them by accident and wasn't looking.

So, some music I like and listen to lately would include VAST, Dead By April, Jason Mraz (Marantz), Civil Twilight, Hana Pestle, and SafetySuit. DeVotchKa is another one that comes to mind. Saw them with my friend when they were here in Lawrence a few years ago. There are one or two others I could list but that's some idea of what I like.

First dates...well, most people would think a first date isn't even a date. Just get together and talk over coffee and maybe a game. I'm not looking for anything but to talk and get to know the other person. I think that's the best thing one can do when you first meet.
