So here's the latest spin.. What do you want to know about me? I'm pretty big into backpacking and travelling, the more off the beaten path the better. World events always interest me, though the news is usually doomy and gloomy.

I've had my boots eaten by a porcupine.
I've danced on the continental divide. Naked.
I've lost myself, found myself, wondered where I was and then woke up in a sweat...
I've followed the instructions on shampoo bottles with disappointing results.

As far as bars go, I'm definitely a pub type of guy.. Although there have been spontaneous dance eruptions now and then that have gotten quite messy.

I read Chomsky and drive a Smartcar. Yet I work and earn my living in the Oilsands for the moment. Just another example of Whitman's 'Multitudes'...

My hopes and aspirations are fairly modest - I've found a good steady pace in life and am happy to run with it for a while. I do eventually hope to settle down here in Edmonton and spend more time in the back yard though. Eventually I'd like to go back to school for a Masters in Environmental Engineering - but that would be a few mortgage payments ahead in the future.

Humor is life's most important trait, cause no matter what the funniest things will happen. Usually when you're not expecting them to. It's like Mr. Bean says - "hmm hmm hm -mumble-mumble-mumble"

On my first date I'd take a girl on a trip in a bus that is rigged to blow up if it goes any less than 50 miles/hour. If it can work for Keanu Reeves it can work for me!

Wait - they made that really horrible sequel on the boat, didn't they?

Okay - on my first date I'd take the lady into the middle of a bad-ass kung-fu fight in a room full of badly built columns... Wearing trench-coats... Yeah.

Well - either that or just out for a good cup of coffee.
