...Let me set the tone here.... Would Mr. Wonderful PLEASE stand up... (WHILE I still have teeth... :) ?

I'm a free spirit, easy going, tomboy type with "classy lady" thrown in. I'm a one man woman looking for a one woman man. I enjoy people so I tend to be gregarious but not flirtatious (I save that for the man in my life :) I'd like to find a man who is reasonably close to my age but has kept himself young in body and spirit. I've been single and not dating for awhile, basically because I wasn't picking the right kind of men, and have been working on trying to find the right type. This is difficult since most men are so visual and seem to lose site of what's inside. I know I have a "look" that doesn't do justice to who I really am, and what's inside is what I want a man to be attracted to...this takes some quality time. (note: I raised horses for 16 years, on a ranch with no electricity for 10 of those years - and loved every minute of it :) I'm attracted to a man who will truly communicate, knowing that this is the key to a strong and healthy relationship. I believe most things can be worked out with rational communication and treating your partner as you would want to be treated - gently and with each others best interest at heart. I'm always willing to give 110% in a relationship, but I need to know that my man is my best friend - a man I can say anything to and know he trusts, respects, and believes in who I am, as I do him. I like a man who is sensual and confident, light hearted and playful. I want to be accepted with flaws and not expected to be somehow perfect - I'm not.... but I try hard ! :) I love the quiet times with my guy...maybe watching the snow come down outside while sitting by a warm fire, watching a good movie, or being in the kitchen with him, cooking up something special....like Scampi:):)? Or just being silly and laughing for "our" reasons. I'm very open to new adventures, so what's in your world ? I tend to be a Mountain woman and love the atmosphere....especially for riding motorcycles. For those who don't quite understand - I ride A LOT, so would naturally like someone who also rides or wants to. It's an amazing experience that puts you "in the moment" - if you ride you know what I'm talking about. Hopefully you also love couple dancing - swing, ballroom (not serious ballroom - just fun :) maybe you'd like to learn....it's wonderful to move on a dance floor, in sync with someone you care for - very sensual with the right person. I'm retired (for now, anyway)(correction as of Oct - I'm now a statistic of the economy, so will be looking for another "self-employed" endeavor). I still love to travel and have done quite a bit - especially when I was skiing heavily, but traveling never gets old - there's so much to see in this world ! We should get started making memories....we're burning daylite !

Pardon my frustration, but this "cyber thing" is difficult & time consuming, sooooo.....

We women are "visual" too..... Please have a "representative" pic of yourself - ballcaps & sunglasses hide too much - ya know? It would be nice to find someone who has taken care of themselves, not perfect, but nice :) A "Primary" photo should look like you NOW - not 15 years ago. My most recent photos are - The Bike shot taken at IceHouse 5/09, the dance photo 1/1/09, the "glam" shot was in Alaska Aug of 08. The rest (except the ski photo) are current or within a couple of years.

I don't have men "beating a path to my door" (because I'm pretty much "off the beaten path") Besides, I just want ONE....the right one :) If the chemistry isn't there, we might just be great friends, and that's never a bad thing !

Hummmm.....I don't think it should be a "date". I think it should be a "meet you" to see if we want a "date". That could be a motorcycle ride thru the Sierra's (weather permitting). Or just a nice place (outdoors if possible) for talking and atmosphere, maybe lunch or a snack.

From what I can tell, "the beach" is a reeeeeealy crowded place....they even have them in Colorado... huh?
