I'm well-mannered, intelligent, respectful and friendship are high priority in my life. I'm happy, articulate, engaging of others and crave adventure. I carry within myself the gift of a good heart and are happy to share with my significant of other. I always have something to talk about and sometime I can get myself into unbelievable funny situations I don't like to dwell on unpleasantness or spend time with people who pull me down.
The type of gentleman I'm hoping to meet someday who can stimulates my mind, make me laugh til my belly hurts, who understands the moods of an artist and as a woman, takes the time to find out how to respond and I'd expect to do that for him, too. I'm not looking for perfection, just the guy who's perfect for me! Someone I can respect. I want to be impressed by what he knows and how he treat others. I want to be able to count on him for his honesty, rely on him for support and be totally blown away by what I see. Someone who is willing to be my ears...I should clarify. I wasn't born deaf. Deafness is something that came to me shortly before my 3rd birthday. I'm hearing impair, I can still hear with help of pair hearing aids and I also read lips. I've never learned to sign more than the alphabet and a few words. I was brought up to be part of the oral world, knowing full well that my role in that world would be a much different one than most.
Someone who has some kind of artistic ability(that would be a plus) The one that has the appreciation for art and be inspired.
I take care of myself, try to take time out to pamper myself like get a massage, get my nails or get pedicure. Like to wear jeans and tank top or dress up for the evening whatever occasion calls for. When weather permitting, I ride my bicycle or walk or if my significant of other has a motorbike, I would be more than happy to be his rider :) I love listen to music or go to concert and dance to rock & roll, country or whatever it's worth dancing to, just so long I can shake my bootieI'm a Seahawks fan... I have two grown sons and four beautiful grand-daughters. I love animals, have one dog and a tabby cat, also have a koi pond in my backyard that I love to tend to. I'm idealistic and independent by nature, when I have my alone time, I'll be in my studio painting up a storm...lol I participate in art shows and juried exhibitions here in WA state. First date shouldn't be like job interview...a nice comfortable atmosphere where we can be ourselves and have FUN!! I would rather meet someplace where there's not so much noise or distraction so we can focus just on each other. I do believe in chemistry, love that magical feeling.
