Well here it goes... I turned 50 recently and to my surprise the world did not come to a end. In fact, it seems better than ever!

I have three kids who are with me part time. They are my pride, joy and most important things in the world. Right from the start, any potentials should realize that my children are my priority and yes, you may have to take a back seat to them on occasion. But then, doesn't that kind of parental devotion speak volumes about a person? My parents raised and taught me love, good manners and respect. I wish that more people were as lucky.

I am a bit of a closet hippie - socially and politically liberal. I enjoy eating and living healthy. I am very tolerant of others and their lifestyles. I respect the planet and the environment and try to be green when I can (recycle, and drive a hybrid).

I do love just about all music and enjoy "moving" to it. Warning...I am cursed with "white-boy-lack-of rhythm-syndrome"...and have yet to master formal dancing. Perhaps there is a patient teacher out there with steel-tip dancing shoes.

I enjoy being outdoors in nature and all its beauty. Love to camp, hike, bike etc.
I choose to live modestly and embrace simplicity rather than opulence. My clothing of choice are shorts (jeans, if the weather is cold) and a favorite tee-shirt. To me, lots of make-up and french-tips scream "high maintainance". It might be great to admire, but it isn't a fit.

I am hoping to meet an interesting, intelligent and fun woman. Would brains, beauty and a great smile be too much to ask for? Definitely not interested in drama, trauma, or high maintenance. Life is too short to not find fun and enjoyment - so don’t ruin it for the rest of us.

When the weather is nice, I enjoy just about anything outdoors - camping, concerts, music festivals (the best of two worlds!), skiing, riding bicycles, horses, dirt bikes, you name it. When the weather is not so nice, I go indoors - movies, cooking, board games, fireplaces,snuggling and a whole lot more yet to be discovered! There is so much to do in life, but it is certainly more fun to enjoy it with someone.

So, if you are up for adventure (often spontaneous), enjoy someone who is easy to get along with (you should be as well), and you can survive without a hair dryer, curling iron or salon visit for more than a week or two, drop me a line. I would enjoy making your acquaintance.
