I am a quiet, inquisitive individual. I'm quite intelligent. I have a wide variety of interests. My interests include (but are not limited to) mathematics, philosophy, physics, economics and psychology.

I have a great sense of humor and a pretty good range to that humor. I find many things funny, perhaps more than I should. I tend to prefer subtle humor, something that requires a bit more work to pick up, often hidden within my seriousness (I try to keep a straight face as long as I can but sometimes it's quite difficult.) An occasional pun will be thrown in for kicks. I will even use such humor in more serious discussions. It has been said that the sense of sight is the greatest of all the senses. I tend to think it's the sense of humor; by it, we can uncover life's greatest mysteries, or at least laugh at them!

I have a great passion when discussing topics of interest with me. I can argue with great vigor for views which I do not even agree with. It's not just the arguing that I enjoy but the exploration and engaging of the subject matter utilizing dialectical reasoning.

Work and school take up a good portion of my time. I have goals in life and am driven to attain them. Unfortunately this means I don't have as much time for other activities. I enjoy watching Dr. House (which is about the only television I watch), dining out, reading, watching an occasional movie, playing guitar, Texas Holdem and a variety of other things which I may or may not enjoy.

I selected "Talk/Email" (above) simply for the fact that I would prefer that initially. In terms of an actual date, I prefer things like, say, dining out or chatting at a coffee house or something along those lines. That way we could just talk or rather you could talk and I could listen (I'm not fond of talking unless you get me going on the right subject.)

I find things like movies to be a sort of "adult babysitter". At the very least, they don't seem terribly social. I would, however, be OK with a more sociable activity such as bowling, etc (so long as you don't count my gutter balls against me.)
