I am a hopeful (not hopeless) romantic. I am very passionate about many things including my Red Sox, the outdoors, and love. I have two wonderful daughters ages 19 and 15 and they mean the world to me. I own a state-licensed child care business and have been doing this for 15 years. I am an intelligent, upstanding and independent female. I have met some nice people, but they haven't worked out. I have made some great friends. I mostly want to feel a man's strong arms around me, to know he cares... to know he thinks I'm beautiful and looks forward to seeing me. I want him to take that very first look at me and feel nervous about being on a date with me, just as I'm nervous about being on a date with him. I want him to feel like he needs to put forward an effort. I prefer to be the pursued, not the pursuer. If he wants to go out with me, he'll ask. If he wants to talk to me, he'll call. I will meet him halfway, but he at least has to be putting in half that effort. I would like to meet someone who is single, faithful (do they make those anymore?), honest, sweet, kind, thoughtful, understanding... that is a lot to ask for I know... oh what the heck... how about someone real and nice... real nice.

I really enjoy camping, fishing, four wheeling and snowmobiling. Here come the Sox again! I am their good luck charm, if I watch, they win!
