It has been awhile since I have been active on here, but as we all know sometimes situations in life bring us here in an attempt to find that special person. You know the person. The one you feel like you are going to burst until you can share that special situation you witnessed or were part of, whether it is pleasant or disheartening. The one that provides a comforting feeling because you know that person is in your life. The one who you will miss and be missed when separated.

A day in my life where I do not laugh does not exist. I enjoy smiling and watching people I meet flash a smile back. I enjoy life. Life is a gift. Each day when the sun goes down I reflect on the day to see what I have done that cost me a day of my life to do.

I am not here seeking to "save" anyone either emotionally or financially. People must find their own peace and then find someone to compliment their life. I am not a demanding or jealous guy and I have no intention of placing pressure on a lady to conform or change to suit my needs. Chances are that if you are reading this profile you are of sufficient years of age that this is the way you are and changing you to fit a certain cookie cutter mold is not going to happen.

I believe in God and I am active in my church. The free will that we have is a measurement to see how we conduct ourselves and treat others.

I live a simple unmaterialistic life. I have a small house that contains all that I need in life for right now. I often ask people what impresses them more...A person who owns a $60,000 home that is paid for, or a person who owns a $260,000 home and still has a $200,000 mortgage who cannot enjoy life because the mortgage needs to be paid. On the other hand, if you are looking for a guy that owns a mortgage free $260,000 home, you have the wrong profile.


I am a stable man who has had the same employer for 24 years. I enjoy my job. I look forward to retirement which will occur sometime between tomorrow and 5 years from now.

I have lived in SW Missouri all my life and I am the fourth family generation that has lived here. I enjoy the Ozarks and all it has to offer. There is no place like it.

I was divorced in 2002 after 22 years. I have no children.

I have been know to arrive at a club when the band starts and dance to classic rock until the band goes home.

I enjoy a movie at home and at the theater.

Although it seems that several of the divorced gentlemen of my generation feel the need to own a Harley, I do not. I have a convertible and I enjoy going for drives with the top down in the warmer months.
